Same old story. Pulis plays players out of their natural position and the player is subject to merciless abuse by the Pulis apologists on this site. KJ was our top scorer in the PL last season despite problems in his personal life but has found himself displaced by a 31 yo gangly wuss who is apparently immune from critisism. It is little wonder that KJ is disillusioned and has lost confidence. I have no doubt that will he want away in the summer and I for one do not blame him.

I thought Whitehead was abysmal,if he stood on the dockside and was told to kick it into the water,I would bet the ball would never leave dry land.

I've just reached the conclusion that it's time to stop with the 'don't blame jones' bandwaggoning..
for me he's past his 'best-before' date and just doesn't have the footballing brain to combat teams and break down a defence... SURELY that's what we should want in a striker..?
I know I'm not alone in saying I'd prefer a goalscorer who MADE goals.. not one who was able to (sometimes) leap in the air above a defender to nod in a cross.
Starting him and crouch together was a mistake. There can only be one playing the 'Mama' role on the pitch at any one time, surely?

Jones was yet another player played out of position.....it would have made more sense to play Jones up front and Crouch behind him as Crouch is more comfortable with the ball at his feet and can see a pass, where Jones is good with his head....and only his head.

I actually thought Jones had a much better game than many of the others. At least in the first half he was prepared to run at United. Palacios and Huth did ok...all the rest were absolutely fucking useless and could have no complaints if they were dropped for the next game.

But Pulis comes out with the same comments most weeks, our final ball was poor or our decision making was poor....Jones shoots when he should pass and TRIES to pass when he should shoot.....you can't coach that...he will be told about it but when he is in that position again he will again choose the wrong option, thats why he is mostly piss poor.....
