Is anybody else sick and tired of the staff at the ticket office, especially the old git with the glasses. This man has no customer skills what so ever. I have just been down and spent £200 on tickets and thought whilst iam there i will get some of the travel forms for valencia away. I am running a coach so asked for 20 his response was cant i give you 1 and let you photo copy it. I just said whatever as couldnt be arsed to stand and argue with him. But it is virtually every time i go there he has got a face like a smacked arse and even though i am spending hard earned cash its as if he is doing me a favour. Perhaps we should start a petition to the club to make them sort out the debacle that is the ticket office!!!!!!

Maybe they only have so many forms and there were reports that last time round loads of fans turned up for tickets without these forms, so perhaps they want to keep plenty back in case this happens again?

The bloke you are on about is Graham and yes i've had loads of run in's with him.His attitude stinks and his customer skills are dreadful like you say and i know for a FACT his fellow workers in the ticket office think the same.Its got to the stage for me that i just avoid him at all costs.There was an example the other week when a bloke went to ticket office with his young son[he was in front of me] to see if he could swap his boothen tickets for 2 in the family stand so he could experience what it was like in there only to be met with the miserable old swines response of a very abrupt NO, so the bloke asked if he could have alook if any of the other games in the near future had tickets available to do this to which he was met with the response of "i haven't got time to do this now and there won't be any anyway" this being at 1pm on the Saturday of the Wigan game.The bloke went away shaking his head and i'm pretty sure the miserable old git must do this on a regular basis to lots of supporters.

That doesn't make a blind bit of difference, you can explain that in 30 seconds, pleasantly, and leave the customer feeling like they've been treated with a degree of courtesy, they do struggle at the TO sometimes but on teh other hand a few of them are very good. Poor customer service really brasses me off as it's so easy to get right with a bit of effort. I would point though that i'm not a complaining git and make a point of contact pretty much anywhere i get good customer service to tell them as much and always make sure i mention the person in question by name. if you're going to beef when things aren't done right then the least you can do is compliment people when they are.

I know which one you mean, miserable git. He got all pissy at me because I couldn't hear him very well, and then pissy at me again when he didn't hear me ask 4 times if I can pay for the tickets on different cards.
The other bloke in there is top class though, always helpful.

Perhaps they did want to keep some forms back but when he gave me 1 it was photocopied any way so why didnt he just say hang on a second and i will copy you some. Has anybody actually complained to the club about him ?

As I no longer live locally, my communication is done over the telephone and the staff have always been very helpful and polite. Tickets, purchases from the online shop etc have always arrived promptly. Maybe you have just been unlucky - but it may be worth mentioning your concerns to the ticket office manager. He was very helpful when I had some queries earlier in the season

I agree, I think this was the bloke who served me when I collected my Valencia home tickets. I saw on his booth that it said "valencia tickets collection only" which I walked upto when I asked if I could collect my tickets he asked "which game!" seems as I there were 3 booths open and I walked up to the Valencia tickets only bit I'm sure it was a given which ticket I was after.

That is the bloke who managed to sell me two seasons tickets in the same name. When I noticed and went back to the window to get one changed to the correct name, he said "It doesn't matter!" It caused me no end of mither.
He is worse than useless.

In defence of the ticket office there's a lad there called Matt I think, who went out of his way to accommdate me and my eldest. If your reading thanks again There's also a woman who works on the phones who's really helpful. She sorted out an issue I had with tickets for the WBA game without a fuss and gave me a little heads up for when Derby tickets will be available. Top marks to her.

When I got my Man City tickets the other week I was shocked, not because how poor and miserable he was, but the fact for the first time since I can remember he served me four tickets without an argument! The biggest problem is we employ people who do not care about football, if I worked behind that counter I'd have a chat to folk about footy and serve with a smile, it is not too much to ask is it?

Couldnt agree more - been there tonight to on my way from Notts to home in Liverpool. Wanted 3 at the front for Anfield on Saturday so my lads can sit and see. It was if I had asked to take a shit in his hat - how dare I ask for something 'specific'. This guy is the face of our club and needs to go! The 2 young guys (girl and lad) are however are superb, and couldnt be more helpful

Here here roro I'd love to work at stoke in some capacity like customer relations, or summit i'd do a cracking job n work my bollocks off because I love the club, how many people work at places or for things they are really passionate about, I'd bloody love it.

Not had a problem with Graham,always o.k. with me but maybe because I knew him vaguely when I worked at Rists On the same subject, I get any tickets I require from the Castle shop and the staff in their are very freindly.
