There's a new Hac?! Good lord ... They'll be building warehouses next! Top line up, saw 'em all the first time around (as some above says ... proper 0ld sk00l) ... I'm not sure I'm fit enough for a Mikey-Pickering set anymore though ... ... In fact, I know I'm not ... Never going to make an all nighter anymore, me ... I'd be one of the munchkins lying asleep below a podium, after 3am ... ... People are right though; those were the days ah

Ah those days...I lived in Manchester during the eighties and you did feel at the centre of all things musical. It's a cultural war crime that they got rid of the Hacienda.

How does this karma thing work? Bit confused the harcore site has started with David Guetta!! Saw him in Nottingham a few months back - he was awful!! Can't mix for toffee and just played commercial tunes all night. Give me a bit of Voodoo Ray anyday, if it has to be before those days Sacha - Xpander. What a tune!!

If of interest - Q Club in Brum has a Cream Classics night at the start of March. Can't remember who is playing but think Jeremy Healy is one on the line up.

No, its www.thewarehouseproject.comIts a pretty good venue, although the year before at the old Boddingtons brewery venue was better. The WHP team are pretty good when it comes to these events. Seen 2ManyDJs (3 times), Groove armada and Erick Morillo. all top nights, albeit for the kids in sunglasses and £4 for a can of carling.

Am I alone in thinking these Old Skool nights are a bit shite? Let's face it you can't recreate the atmosphere you had at the Hacienda or even somewhere like Shelly's or Kinetic - I haven't seen him for a long, long time but I can't imagine watching an old, fat, teetotal Manc pretending he's off his tits on stage is much cop!
