I reckon she's going all the way...
Well Bill certainly did with Monica Lewinski and it didn't do him any harm...
Why can't our Politicians follow the American example..?
I know John Major and Eggwina tried their best ...
Gummer tried it in his Chelsea strip...
What about Ken Clarke and Anne Widdecombe...?
The mind boggles....
Where's Serpico for a definitive anti American Perspective.? ;D

The other old Bugger John Wayne...I mean McCain..(Or whatever his name is) says his foreign policy is all about catching Osama Bin Laden.
Well based on that.... he's got no fucking chance .!

I'm not anti American Mumf, i just hate there politicians on both sides of the isle, although i do like one guy who is running for office but he doesn't stand a chance on account that he tell's the truth about the war/terrorism, telling the truth is always going to be unpopular, people don't like it because it hurts.
John McCain is the most pro war politician in washington, he makes Dick Cheney look like Ghandi, the guy is very dangerous.
Hillary Clinton is also a pro war interventionist, in fact it looks very bleak for the future in American politics, not to worry though if the dollar keeps falling they won't be able to carry on with this ridiculous empire building, all empires fall when the currency is debased.

Serpico.....I'm sure you realise that I'm only jesting...Obama looks more the pacifist in my humble view. I can't see McCains strategy and policies getting him all the way to the Whitehouse no matter how big a Vietnam war veteran he was. The Americans have clearly had enough of the War on two fronts wouldn't you agree.?

Obama is hard to pin down, he speaks a good game but if you dig a bit deeper you'll see he is being advised on foreign policy by a very hawkish figure, zbigniew brzezinski, he's the Democrats version of Henry Kissinger, he's the guy who brags about provoking Russia into invading Afghanistan to lure them into the "afghan trap" and bog them down in a costly war, a war which killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
Americans are strange beasts, but I'd have to agree i don't see them electing another pro war republican in this election, 70% of Americans are now against the war in Iraq, even though the Bush admin are trying to claim "the surge is working" which it clearly isn't. JOhn McCain is going around saying he'd keep troops in Iraq for hundred years.
I agree, I think HIllary is the chosen one and I'd be surprised if she isn't the next president.

Mmmm...Hilary is looking the stateswoman elect, whereas Obama is looking the young pretender with the hope that he gains the Black vote. McCain is seen as a big risk with his more extremist views....a modern day witch hunter winkling out the evil of international terrorists. With a world wide oil crisis looming ...he's not the most sensible or appropriate politicians to have as your head of state, unless that is ,you happen to live in the Texas oil fields.
"the more the monkey climbs the tree ...the more it shows it's arse"...McCain

Serpica - Is there any chance that Clinton would pick Obama as Vice President and give the democrats a dream ticket? I have only just started to follow the campaign over there and am getting to grips with who stands for what.

I have only just started to follow the campaign over there and am getting to grips with who stands for what. Possibly, or maybe John Edwards who dropped out a couple of weeks back, an Obama-Clinton ticket would romp to a win in the election imo, Bush and the neo-conservatives (nothing conservative about them by the way) have destroyed the republican party, maybe beyond repair, it's been a disastrous 7/8 years and Bush will go down as one of the worst presidents in American history, worse even than nixon.

Thanks for that Serpico.
Seems to make sense to me for Obama and Clinton to team up. Then again when has sense ever prevailed in politics?
Totally agree with your comments on Bush and to think the guy only got in by the skin of his teeth over Al Gore.

Bungalow Bill was educated over here......
Chelsea meanwhile, his daughter, has had her brace removed, but her mother still looks better than her.
I reckon Hilary has that 'squeaky clean' image the American mid-West will go for.

Hillary Clinton US President...? Yuk. Hate her with a passion. What is fascinating is that America will either get its first woman President, its first black President or its oldest ever new President. If Barack Obama gets in, will life imitate art in the shape of 24? There are a lot of crazy dudes in the States who legally own guns.
