They say that its spreading like wild fire and that millions have suffered the effects of sickness and a dose of the shits. In short it is supposed to be at epidemic proportions in this country. well I for one know no body who has had it!

Its all shit isnt it. I bet if they broke down the figures the main days of sickness would be Fridays and Mondays.

I read somewhere that Fridays and Mondays account for roughly 40% of all sick days. It's disgusting. Skiving barstewards.

You probably don't know anyone who has it, because those that do have it are at home projectile vomiting across their living room and feel too sick to talk to anyone! Roger, the opposite would probably be right about the main days of sickness. Taking that most people visit hospitals and eat food from restaurants, cafes, food vans, etc., on the weekends and it takes between 24-48 hours to take effect, and the symptoms last for 4-5 days, then the main days of sickness will probably be from Monday to Friday, leaving you just about well enough to go out and get bacterial gastroenteritis (instead of viral) the following weekend!

The thing is that companies can sometimes be their own worst enemy. Ours for example give you a right bollocking for being off sick. Yet when people come in with this as they are pretty much threatened with the sack they spead the thing across the offices like mad and then the company lose yet more if the work force. It only takes one to come in with it. Like a cold at school.
