I know he has won loads, but I was wondering how someone with a glittering trophy haul be considered a shit manager?

Don't know about shit manager, but he was as responsible as anyone for the shit Liverpool found themselves in before the takeover and yet copped (or perhaps kopped) virtually none of the blame. Nothing was ever his fault either.

I just don't think he did a good job at Liverpool. I can't speak for his time in Spain but at Liverpool I think he was a failure. With the money he spent he should have won more. His tactics were strange, most of his signings even stranger and he just didn't do the right things. The Champions League was won with mainly players he had inherited too. He just struck me as being a bit of a shit manager irrespective of what he had won.

maybe he's come to take a look at our little clob
a nice fella - unless he's using something as a pretence for sniffing around our ace centre half pairing

Rafa was also at the Brit this afternoon with Tone, very strange if he was just watching training.

Failed at Inter too after taking over one of the best teams they've had.

Don't know what situation Rafa is in right now, haven't heard anything for a while and can't be arsed to look it up, but if he is out of work, and with us maybe having a heavy schedule, and in Europe, then Rafa 'tagging' along for a while would not be a bad way to go.
His experience in Europe could be very useful to us.
