Does anyone have any calculated estimates of what time the fight is supposed to begin UK time? Need to figure out some (legal) way of staying awake for it, might just get up in the middle of the night. Someone told me 2.30 the other day, my flatmate reckons 5. I know it could be an hour either side but still there has to be some way to guess surely?

I'm 100% behind Hatton, however over the last couple of years Mayweather had been the best fighter in the world at his level. To go from Super Featherweight and progress up to Welterweight undefeated speaks for itself.
I'm hoping his cockiness is the un-doing of him. He obviously respects Hatton and i think to a certain point fears him. The thing that may be his downfall is that he is sure that he will win, he sees no other result possible.
I aren't buying into this whole weak hand injury, if he thought there was any chance that he would lose through an injury then he wouldn't fight.
Hatton is going have to use all he has got in his locker to defeat Mayweather . He has to get in at Mayweather from the very start and land a few meaningful punches in the first few rounds. The longer the fight goes on the more dangerous Floyd becomes.
I personally think it will go to the judges, and hopefully a Hatton win on split decision. Heart - hatton, brain - Mayweather.

Says on the BBC site it scheduled to start at 4am, but will depend on the length of time to get through the undercard. They normally run over, so I reckon probably about 4.30am. Go on Ricky!!

You can call me a cynic but I still think most boxing in the US is fixed. Don't be surprised if Mayweather wins this one and Hatton wins a re-match. Even if its not fixed I think Hatton will struggle to beat Mayweather. He picked off Oscar De La Hoya easy with counter punches. Hatton will need to finish him within the distance to win.
Start time should be 4am over there, I'm sure its scheduled to start at 9pm here. Last time Hatton fought Castillo it started at 10pm over here which was an hour later than expected.
Any Stokies making their way over? They showed the English arriving for the last fight he had and the first flag I saw was Stoke City. My Canadian friends were well impressed : )

Beautiful game- agree pretty much 100% apart from the last paragraph- just think Mayweather too good for him
Maybe should have read the last paragraph more carefully ???
Think will be Mayweather unanimous decision but betting on him winning in 6th or 7th

In the end Soi i think you will be right. I have no doubt Ricky will give all he has got but can't honestly see it being enough.
Mayweather's results at the end of the day speak volumes, he's fought some of the best fighters in his level and came out on top every time.
This maybe a step too far for Hatton.

Cheers y'all, although my flatmate is doubting the integrity of your information! I told him: the only mis-information on the oatcake is regarding Lee Trundle and Trentham based real-estate.

Mayweather may of fought some of the best boxers in the world but he aint fought our ricky yet. Ricky needs to get in close and stop floyd boxing, as he likes to keep his distance from his opponents, so if Ricky can keep the boxing close he will probably win but if mayweather can keep Ricky at arms length then im afraid this could be Mayweathers night..
