Morning folks [ ] Right... "Here I go again" Before I decided to make any official approaches to banks for a mortgage for my new house (I hope) I thought I would request my credit file from Experian... When I opened the envelope I had a quick look through and came across a default for £2295 for a car that I had stolen in 2002. Obviously the car was on tick and was covered by my "GAP" policy as well as "Fully Comp" insurance. When I rang the company yesterday they informed me that my account was closed and paid! Obviously I have applied for credit since and been rejected due to people thinking I owe £2295! Now I have about 3 pages of rufusal credit applications due to this frigging company. I know I'll be able to have it satisfied on my report but that wont alter the fact Ive been refused by every man and his dog which has knackered my credit. Any1 else ever been in this situation and is there a way to get it rectified? Cheers Ejay
