This is probably one for the "Everything Else" Board but as its footy related I'll post it here ;D
My Bro in Law has got 2 season tickets for the "Scum" now!! my dilema is that he is insistant that I go to a game with him??????
Obviously as Im a Stoke City fan this is beyond my morals but I'd love to go for the experience, but Id feel like I was betraying?!?
What shall I do???

Pick a game after they have played away in Europe. They normally struggle and there is more chance of them losing. If you have to go, at least get the opportunity to see Fergie blowing his top and seeing all those tear soaked prawn sandwiches.

Now the other question is.....
"Do I wear my Stoke Shirt under my coat / jumper???"

Two points a brother in law especially one who's a Sh%t fan can't insist on anything If you want to go to OT that's fine ,just wait until we play there,if you can't wait that long then you need to have a serious talk with yourself or seek professional medical help Keep thinking and repeating the words Stoke ,pride and loyalty and all thoughts of OT and Man U will pass

and get the GMP to lay on a chemical spill decontamination chamber for you after the game.
also wear industrial strength eye protection, a blind fold & arctic mits so as not to be corrupted by the "United" corprote machine

I'd just go, i'm looking forward to goint to Saint James's for a Newcastle match soon,i know it's slightly different, they not the scum but still a big team! Wait untill theres a game of ours that you wont goto and then just go, wear you're stoke shirt on top, they won't do anything, they're all a bit too posh and rich if they can afford tickets! (in general!!!!!!! don't count on it)

Yeah go along. As long as you don't spend any money you maintain your ethical purity.
But if your brother in law is a gloryhunter (i.e not a Manc) never let up in explaining his moral bankruptcy.

Don't go, why join in with the glory hunters they're on telly often enough watch them there, Roy Keane will tell you the atmosphere is better and you get more choice on your sarnies. If a Stoke match was called off I'd go to another match but even with a given ticket I wouldn't go there.

If your not paying then go, I've always said I will never give any money to Man Utd, I might just go if Stoke played there in a playoff final or something but they really are scum. Wear a t shirt saying "I've come all the way from Weymouth to see my local side" or some anti man u thing, with a stoke scarf.
OR try and get kicked out for being "neutral" then protest. "VAN NISTELROOY, UR A HORSE FACED CUNT" etc...

My brother is a shite fan & goes regularly & he'soften offered me the chance to go FOC but i've turned it down as i'll only go to old trafford as an away supporter. Looks like i'll have to wait till next season then when we're in the prem. I'd go to watch England there of course. ;D If you do go don't spend a penny , they're loaded already.
