If you haven't got one, what's doing the rounds on your stereo.
I have a large CD wallet in the van, but only a few get played on a regular basis.
I call them my 3am CD's for when there's nowt on the radio .
#1 Norah Jones : Come away with me
#2 Hendrix : Ultimate Collection
#3 A compliation CD of my making, with various strong voiced female singers.. and some Beach boys, and odd mix...Transvision Vamp, Hole, Skunk Anasie,No Doubt
#4 The Who : who's better who's best
#5 Nirvana : have all albums in wallet, but Nevermind gets aired most often
#6 Another Compilation CD, which sounds like a night out at an mid 1990's Indie/alternative club venue, with some N.E.R.D. thrown in.... Rage Against The Machine, Offspring etc.
even aired "Therapy" the other night, crank it up and blast the Soho Drunks ;D

I haven't got a fancy-dan autochanger or anything, but the 5 CDs I've played on my old coal-powered bog-standard CD player today are: Noyoucmon by Lambchop (the better disc of their new double set) Cerebral Caustic by The Fall Rounds by Four Tet (courtesy of Jugger who accidentally burned me an illegal copy, officer) Mutiny/The Bad Seed by The Birthday Party (for old times' sake) Talkie Walkie by Air (Johnny French hits the back of the net again)
