Was thinking about moments in films that made me jump. One i remember most was on Salems lot when the door to the prison cell slowly swings open and the vampires head suddenly springs up on the screen. come to think of it there were a few scary moments in that film.

Jaws. The bit when one of them goes diving around a boat at night and a corpses head appears in it.

Remember seeing that as a kid Joe and jumped 20 ft in the air.
Scariest moment had to be Bette Midler in basque and suspenders in "Get Shorty". Couldn't sleep for a week.

I've seen a picture of Cilla Black in a basque at the royal command performance. Very scary too.

Nice one the dude ;D As you remember Salems Lot did you watch when it was over the two nights. Must admit made me nervous going to bed. The bit where the kids brother is floating outside his window asking to be let in was scary as well.

We had to watch "Threads" at school. shit that was scary. Several people had to leave during it. The scene where the woman was rocking the baby was a bit gruesome. www.the-snu.co.uk/Threads.htm

The baddy in 'Through The Dragons Eye' (infants school 'educational' video) when I was about 6. Shit me right up, me and my best mate at the time (a girl who I still keep in touch with) couldn't watch it so we just stayed in the classroom.
