Don't know how reliable this is but some bloke told me they are reforming for a one off tour this year! Anyone else heard anything?

Was rumoured (and I got excited!) but other report have said its just folly
Wellers website mentions nothing of it either.
The papers got all excited because they were spotted having lunch together, but from what I can gather it was just a general get together because they hadn't spoken for years.
Saw Bruce Foxton playing bass for Stiff Little Fingers a year or so back.

Yep Bruce still with Fingers ...new album is excellent btw.
Saw the Jam once, wasnt a fan but they were good. Went because The alarm were supporting.
Bruce Foxton hardly changed at all.

Doesn't seem likely, didn't they take Weller to court over not being paid enough? They were pretty pissed of about it in the book they wrote.

Heard this rumour a couple of weeks ago, which was quickly quashed by his daughter (I think?) who said something along the lines of "My Dad says to tell you "No fucking way" - don't believe all the bollocks in the paper"!! Yes - expletives an' all!!

It was reported last year that The Jam were negotiating to re form and were going to play Knebworth this summer. There is an interview with Rick Buckler in Scootering magazine, I haven’t read it as yet but maybe he was asked the question direct. As someone who has had the privilege to see them live I just hope this turns out to be true. However I just can’t see what musical direction they will take if the do reform. My favourite Jam era has to be the All Mod Cons era. Down in the Tubestation being the finest tune they ever made. Perhaps they will just do some live gigs and perform their previous songs if so that’ll do for me. Gouranga.
