Birmingham and either Spurs or Liverpool will have to play a qualifying round. Because we lost the cup final, we go straight in to the next round, which is ironic, since we could end up below midtable. ;D.

i wouldnt mind a draw against the new saints FC if they get through the 1st and 2nd qualifiers almost a derby haha it would be funny as hell to be in europe and play a team 45 miles away It would seriously not be funny Our first venture in Europe since the 70s and we're off to Wales for the evening? What an enormous comedown that'd be Wales for the evening? Not even that, TNS are based in England! Although the size of their ground would probably mean playing them at Wrexham.

I see the failiures from the champions league get another go. Why dont they just stick to the competitions entrants and be done with it. Still, if the big teams from the champions league get knocked out of the champions league then it wont be devalued will it.

By the looks of things we could be drawn against Braga/Athletico Madrid/Roma and Celtic! Would you prefer any of these to a minimal opposition like a Welsh or Icelandic side? suggestions

It would be better For the club to face the better teams, as it would definitely be an advantage towards signing new player, world wide recognition, better fan base( stadium expansion).

I would like a couple of easier ties followed by a group full of big name sides.
If we get knocked out in 3rd Qualy round or play off round then we'll be out of Europe before the end of August!
At least if were in the group stage we can enjoy it until Xmas

I'd love to play Hearts away, nice trip to Scotland! Does anyone know who else we could get? Say if Motherwell win the Scottish Cup this weekend?

No Birmingham and 5th placed team will go in a round after us, the playoff round, we need to win third qualifying round to make it to the playoff round

www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/This is the best website ive seen, someone posted it on this thread but i think it needs a repost. It tlls you every team that has qualified so far and also the current league positions of temas who still need to qualify.

Totally disagree. If we came up against At.Madrid, Roma or someone like that, we're more than likely out before it's got started, mid August. Means no Europe, no advantage in signing players like Defoe, Palacios, Agbonlahor. If we get an easy tie, we've got a great chance of going through, then because we're English, we get seeded and in the groups it'd be us, another good team from ITA/ESP/GER plus some smaller clubs from lesser countries. Then we can gain world wide recognition.

great to be in there, it either goes one of two ways in the qualifying rounds, we could draw a difficult tie e.g. sevilla, az alkmaar, roma or get a load of shite any of the teams from scandinavia, wales, the faroe islands!

Can't just have a game in Wales and then be done with it.
Why do these things have to be so bloody complicated?
