lost 14 games out of 27 this season can see stoke 4th from bottom , KJ and fuller playing wank, pulis concentrating on the cup, portsmouth made same mistake, very very worried for stokes future this season Thank God there's Happy Larry here to inject a bit of levity into the proceedings ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif)

our home form will be enough this year: beaten Bolton, Everton and Sunderland at home (im sure there is someone else?) we have games against Wolves, Newcastle, Wba and wigan all at home and we need 7 points to get to the magic 40 we will have enough guys

We need to win on Monday and no mistake
The mood following that game will for me dictate the rest of the season

We will not see the usual West Brom formation, Hodgson will be far more defensive which should suit us. Their confidence will be very fragile and if we play our normal aerial bombardment I think that they will really struggle. 3=0

Beat West Brom and I think we are safe.
36 points with a few more almost guaranteed. We don't want to be the team that plummets from relative safety. At this moment that team has to be WBA.
Lose to West Brom and we'll be looking over our shoulders rather than looking forward.
My Wolves supporting mate is convinced they'll get to 39 points and avoid relegation. It's going to be very interesting.

We are between 20/1 - 33/1 to go down . Blackpool, 1 point worse off than us, are as short as 7/4.
We've also lost more games than all teams in the bottom 3!
Monday is a huge game that we have to win

only 6 teams have won more games than us this season though
stop worrying people teams this year will go down on 35 36 points and we will get more than 3 points in the last 10 or so games

Tomorrows match is massive. If we lose i really fear that we could end up being in a relegation battle. come the quarter final of the cup we could be in the bottom three and having to face some very difficult games, spurs, arsenal.chelsea, man city etc. whats more worrying is just watched wolves and they seem to be playing some good stuff now mainly thanks to jamie o hara ( why did we not sign him???)

Because we have Delap ;D
Seriously, They've been playing well most of the season
But, just been unlucky

There is so much negativity on this board, thank god these doom mongers were not around in 1940, if they were we would now all be speaking German, drinking girlie lager and wearing leather shorts! I believe 40 points will be enough and if we can't amass 7 points from West Brazil, Wolves, Newcastle, Wigan all at home quite apart from the other fixtures then we don't deserve to be in this league. Simples ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

I have to say, I joined here when you came up to this division and honestly thought you'd be down within 3/4 of that season. Now whilst nobody could call you football purists in any way, you do have fight and spirit about you. If I was to guess on any side that will battle to the last minute of the season it'd probably be Stoke City. Also managing to p*ss off FC United Nations over in Islington is an added admirable factor.
PS - I don't think you'll even be in the relegation washup.

I'm always worried about Stoke - it's the default position for any Stoke fan imo. But looking at it sensibly, we've won one game in three (approx) so far, which would mean another three or four wins in the remaining 11 games = 9 to 12 points. Even a really shit run in of one win, three draws and seven defeats would put us on 39 and that could be enough. A win v WBA would really help, but they've got to beat us soon. See, always worried about Stoke. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Three W's.
Wigan, Wolves and WBA will go down.
Cast iron.
And Stoke will be absolutely slaughtered in April at The Lane.

I base that last prediction on the fact I don't think you'll be needing the points and we will.
The other prediction is because the any old iron crafty cockneys somehow every single fking year managing to scrape their way out of the drop zone. Dunno how, but they do.

The other prediction is because the any old iron crafty cockneys somehow every single fking year managing to scrape their way out of the drop zone. Dunno how, but they do. Their next 8 games.. H Liverpool H Stoke City A Tottenham Hotspur H Manchester United A Bolton Wanderers H Aston Villa A Chelsea A Manchester City The only 2 games they have that look possibly winnable are us and Villa at home. Even if they do that, and draw with Liverpool and Bolton (away), that only gives them a point a game - not enough to keep them up. Their last 3 games look favourable but I think they'll be a good 6 points adrift of safety by then, so will need to win them all. Plus there are rumours on here that Parker is out for a month...

I'm pretty sure that tomorrow is the day that we lose to West Brazil. The funny thing is - having played them (and won) so many times I would argue that tomorrow is right up there in terms of importance - Arguably THE most important game between both teams in the last 15 years. Knowing this and knowing Stoke is what scares me the most !

That's what gives our games a bit of edge!
If we weren't in trouble the season would have an air of anticlimax

There is always the possibility we could go down but it would be a collapse of the highest order if we did. I'm not worried yet, we have more than enough in our locker to stay up, if we win on Monday the board will be harmonious once again!
