Wish you were able to go to Wembley, you'd be proud of Stoke at the moment!
I hope your able to watch where ever you may be.
Miss you Dad.
wow that post fills me with sadness. people take life for granted. really annoys me when peopel chat shit about stoke been a shyte hole. stoke on trent is wonderfull and so is life. I never really gave japan a thought about the dissater untill this morning on the news a man in tears looked in bits. his whoel family are missing presumed dead. i jsut cant imagine how it would possibly feel loosing somebody you love dearest. I saw really bad and nasty stuff in afghan, missing limbs and people killed but thats completly different you prepare your self for that and have to just crack on with the job but with family thats just somethign completly different i cant possibly imagineor even try to think of how hard that is. i realy do hope things get better for your family.
Sadly Warrant Officer Adrian Cheshire has passed away after battling illness for the last few months. Season ticket holder, devoted fan, gentle giant, true gentleman and a great great friend, he will be sorely missed. I will be raising one for him at the Bolton game, we will give the potters a roar for you Big Ade
OMG! I can't believe it! He mailed me on Xmas eve with this...
Quick update - high strength chemo and stem cells put back in last week in Birmingham - now in isolation for three weeks in Shrewsbury Hospital due to white cells shot at - still very much upbeat both physically and mentally - that despite the loss at home to Blackpool :-)
Still main reason for email was to wish you, Tony and family a really happy christmas and all the very best for 2011 - see you in D's for a beer at sometime.
I'm utterly, utterly devastated, because Big Ade was one of life's gentlemen; the original gentle giant; a wonderful handshake; never bombastic; always a ready, genuine smile; and truly one of the loveliest men, if not the loveliest and friendliest person I have ever met in my life. God, me and Tone will miss him! He was always part of our matchday experience, and even when we'd lost, that big grin on his face would always ease the pain of losing.
Ade, Rest in Peace, my lovely, lovely friend. OS is shedding tears at losing you, and I know Tone will be beyond devastated.
Milkie, thank you for informing us. I'd be obliged if you would PM me with the details of Ade's funeral. Thank you.
I don't know the guy or anything like that, but he sounds an absolute inspiration to us all. RIP

Ade will be at Wembley, make no mistake about that. He'll be euphoric if we win and if we lose he'll take great delight in bending my ear and telling me where Pulis got his tactics wrong. He's been doing that for years and I doubt he is going to change now.
I'll be cheering extra hard for you, Ade - but just go easy on me (for once) if we lose ok?
