I think all of them in the classic macari years of 92 to 93
its easy to pick on Steino but Im gonna punt for Ian Cranson
Just imagine a dream pairing of Shawcross & Cranson...

As a kid probably Jimmy. As a teenager, Bertie. As a youngish man, Steino, ( With a close second to Cranny, who is a good pal of mine ) Now, Ryan. Future when i'm an old git will be Romeo Beckham. ( or that ugly little fucker that rooney and coleen spawned )

I used to fancy Dean Crowe when I was about 10, what a weirdo. I also used to fancy Mike the barman from Only Fools and Horses x

Read everyone choices, clearly age dependant.I was too young for the pre 1979 team but read all and everything I could find about the 1970,s Stoke City. The one player I've never heard of is Toney Allen.I've talked to loads of older guys and soaked up all the stories as we do as kids, but Dont ever remember Tony Allen being highlighted.Anyway ....Mickey Thomas and Sammy Mac as a midfield pair were wonderful but Chamberlain for me,I based my whole playing days on trying to dribble to the line on the wing before sending over the perfect cross for someone to finish ,justlike Big Bren.I wasn't as good in reality as I was in my mind I suspect

Been a Stoke supporter since 2012. As a fellow tall guy who always had to play keeper, I've always loved Crouchie for being the forward I always wanted to be.

So many since 1967, but:
Banks - #1 always, the reason I support Stoke.
Followed by Denis Smith (S-o-T in human form) and Alan Hudson (the most perfect player I've ever seen in a Stoke shirt).
