Fair enough, but why make a fellow stokie look daft first.
other songs are sung down the brit or on away days that dont make sense much but really wind the oposing players up.
and that is what we do. to the extent of roon hopefully having a hissy fit on the pitch because he just cant get his head in the right place at the bear pit.

Me too. Like Liverpool last season. They really are there for the taking and falling apart and with the right attitude from the manager we can do them. Aren't they still undefeated this season? They haven't lost at Sunderland, Bolton, Everton or Fulham, whilst winning in Valencia. They are still a bloody good side *at the moment*. A draw on Sunday would be an excellent result for us. That said, we must do better than last season. We must give it a 'right good go' (as Pulis might say), attempt to land some punches, at least. Fook the draw, we can beat them. Great news that Giggs is out too. But we'll lose, TP: "They're having a blip at the moment but they're a great side. They'll come back, don't worry about that." That's not what I want to hear. Just like Liverpool last season and West Ham this we'll give them a leggy up to let them be on their way.

Of course we should go out to beat them. We should approach it like any other home game. I'll be disappointed if we play Delap on the wing instead of Pennant.
BUT, they are UNBEATEN ALL SEASON. Teams better than us haven't been able to turn them over, so I'm not *expecting* us to.

Rooney is a bloody fool if he thinks that there's a manager better than Ferguson when it comes to keeping him under control. He'd be better off shutting up and sorting his life out.

Certainly possible if we pick a team to have a go at them. I can see TP being scared of the badge and playing Rory wide right or five at the back or something else panicky and negative though. Not a chance of anyone other than walters or pennant being out wide on the right.I (and I'm sure many others) hope you're right JSU but I think there will hardly be anyone who is surprised if the midfield he picks on Sunday is something like ... Rory---Diao---Whelan---Matty or somet similar.

They are in shit street and are there for the taking, positive mental attitude! ;D How are they in shit street? They've recently won in Valencia! Supposedly not playing well, yet undefeated all season. We played well against Blackburn and Bolton, but we'll start as overwhelming underdogs on Sunday and rightly so.

They are in a bit of turmoil at the moment and are going the same way Liverpool are, they are there for the taking. PMA! PMA! PMA! Have faith, I just hope Tone does.

Why didn't even one of Valencia, Fulham, Everton, Bolton and Sunderland beat them? They were utter bollocks against Valencia and it was down to Valencia missing 2/3 very good chances and then Man Yoo sucker punching them. They didn't beat Sunderland or Bolton and since then have drawn with West Brom and in all the games they looked toss and were lucky not get beat by 2/3 against Sunderland. And their plight has deepened with this Rooney business. Have faith, they are shit, be positive!

Obviously, I hope we go all out for the win; I really, really hope we win. Given their CURRENT form, I'd say that's unlikely, though.
I'd be delighted if we were playing as "badly" as they are; I'd be over the moon if we hadn't lost all season.

But this Man Yoo, they're expected to beat Bolton, Sunderland and West Brom and haven't. Yes they're unbeaten but that is woeful for them. There is no better time to play them and it needs to be exploited. Giggs being out sealed it for me.

But this Man Yoo, they're expected to beat Bolton, Sunderland and West Brom and haven't. This is my point. Even though they are playing "badly" by their standards, they are still playing bloody well by most teams'! I thought we played well against Blackburn. From the MOTD highlights, I'd guess Man. United created double the chances against West Brom in a "terrible" display. I was happy with the way we played at Bolton, thought it was good. Man. United were "crap" there and still got a better result than Stoke! I completely agree with you that we should try to take the game to them. We must attempt to give these teams a bloody nose at our place. But it's going to be bloody hard and, realistically, I'd snap your hand off for a draw.

We can do them! Fuck rationality, this is the time, we can beat them. A draw pfffffft! I was genuinely disappointed with the Liverpool draw last season now that was a game we should have won. Liverpool came to Stoke for a draw, brilliant, I never thought I'd see that. But as for this lot we can do 'em.

I don't see the similarity with the Liverpool game. At the time, they were struggling for form (that is, regularly losing games!!) and had all their star players missing (no Torres, Gerrard etc.). It was a poor Liverpool team, no doubt about it.
On Sunday, we'll be up against Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Scholes, Nani, Rooney, Berbatov and co.
No comparison.
That's no reason why we shouldn't have a bloody good go at them. They'll probably win, though. They've got better players and they haven't lost all season.

Man Yoo on a draw fest is them struggling for form. They got booed off at the weekend and their star man is off the rails and Giggs is missing. All wank why be scared of them? Man United is a club on it's way down just like Liverpool, we have nothing to fear and everything to gain. Let me be positive ffs! ;D
