Man City are expected to win the race to sign Wayne Rooney after offering him 230 Grans a week.
Sorry but this one made me chuckle. ;D;D;D

The empire is definitely starting to crumble - and it's really going to tumble down over the next 2-3 years. It's going to be a great watch. If Liverpool's continued demise was fun, this one is going to be a corker. ;D ;D ;D ;D I DO FUCKIN HOPE SO PLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE

They have been at the top now for 15 years or so, history says clubs come and go in cycles, of course money has changed how that happens but with Liverpool on the wane i really do believe Man U's time is up at least for a while.
fergie has done an incredible job over the years but he cannot last forever.

He should need little to wind up his side on Sunday - prove they can do it without Rooney. We might just feel the sting in their tail!

If the Shit did ever find themselves in the Championship,Sky sports would find a way to still have them on every other week.

Didn't Ferguson start the slide by trying to take on Magnier and JP Macmanus over Rock of Gibraltor. That triggered the share buying which ultimately ended up with the Glasers taking control. The greedy Scottish twat.

Lets not start celebrating too soon. Despite what we all hope will happen they are a global brand and there are other oil billionaires that could buy them.

Reckon Fergy should have gone by now, he is too old. If Man you don't get the right fella then they will be gone. I'm not a Man you fan, but as I recall (and I may stand to be corrected) Docherty was the manager when they last were relegated. I think he is still around but he must be getting on in years. Really? Last season they were challenging for the title up until the final game of the season, and if they had pulled it off, which they probably would have done if Ronaldo hadn't fucked off, they would have been the first club since the inception of the premiershit to have won four titles on the bounce.

so if true that manure empire is crumbling away, and say, fergie leaves, in your honest opinion who would replace him, just curious as to what you all think.

Have to say that I felt almost sorry for Fergie after watching that press conference - all that power he has wielded for so long stripped away in an instant We knew that the Yanks had weakened the club but if Rooney walks with next to no fee then surely the temple of doom is beginning to crumble How will our local glory hunters cope seeing their dream club in pieces? Buy a blue shirt I guess if you honestly think that is true, you really are insane !!

I think statusquo (thats the poster not Parfitt & Rossi) is probably right.
The Shit can get in as much debt as they like as they have their get out of jail free card in that some insane Arab Oil Billionaire or Russian Oligarch or whoevere will come in & buy them.
still here's hoping...

If the Shit did ever find themselves in the Championship,Sky sports would find a way to still have them on every other week. Like the Geordies were? I believe Ferguson is such a conceited twat that he would enjoy the fact that the 'new' man wouldn't have success with 'his' players. It's just like after Sir Matt, hopefully, all those years ago leaving an ageing side and The Shit in the shit!

www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_6456965,00.html "I met with David Gill last week and he did not give me any of the assurances I was seeking about the future squad," said Rooney. "I then told him that I would not be signing a new contract." "I was interested to hear what Sir Alex had to say yesterday and surprised by some of it," continued Rooney. "Despite recent difficulties, I know I will always owe Sir Alex Ferguson a huge debt. He is a great manager and mentor who has helped and supported me from the day he signed me from Everton when I was only 18. "For Manchester United's sake I wish he could go on forever because he's a one-off and a genius."

He obviously wants out for more money but he and his agent are right when they say the ambition isn't there. In a 2 years they'll have gone from having 3 of the best attackers in the world in their squad to not having one of them.
