Great day, would've been better if those folks who ran on before the final whilstle could've held back.
They didn't get booed for nothing. Most of us waited till the whistle.

I can remember I was shaking so much when them idiots ran on the pitch, I thought that this was it and the FA were going to dock us points. A bit stupid looking back at it now but at the time, it seemed like it would be typical that we worked so hard and then had it snatched from us at the very end due to some idiots.
I too get hairs standing up on the back of my neck watching that as well as Pottermouth's battle cry.

My hear sank when those bellends jumped the gun the first time.
Looks like TP says about 35 seconds in 'get of the fucking pitch you bellends'. ;D.

Hull's game ended before ours, so we were promoted before the end of the game, hence the premature invasion. I did worry a bit about what the arses people at the FA might do

Brilliant day, I couldn't go to the Brit so watched it at the Millstone. The look on the tosser Vale fan in there when about 20 pints were thrown at him was priceless!

A great reminder of a historic day. Thanks for showing it.
In common with most of those present my heart was in my mouth, when those idiots ran on the pitch before the final whistle, wondering whether the F.A.were going to take any action against the club. Fortuneately they didn't and we ended up where we belong in the top flight.

Look at this as well the pitch is full, but so are the stands. How does that work? ;D ;D that worked because the gates were open to allow the early leavers to exit allowing all those outside to come in and fill the aisles before their premature pitch invasion. Being an old fart mesen I recognised quite a few old faces who otherwise would probably never be allowed in the ground. there were a lot of the old crews there that day. why do you think what was called "that gay clapping" caught on so quickly? It was just us owd gits remembering our youth ;D
