I've been told by someone at the ticket office that, even though they have it on record that I buy at least 2 away tickets for each away game, that I'll only be entitled to 1 ticket as the tickets are registered in one name. I think that is unfair tbh as my son has always travelled to each away game and now won't be able to attend. Shite Stoke.

I've been to 13, yet it only has me purchasing 9. (I think it needs to be 10 to get a ticket)
As 2 are under my dad's name, and 1 is under a mates

I think he said that it doesn't matter if you have the stubs or not, if you haven't got 10 away games on the system you ain't going.

thats utter bollocks,
not in my case but surely in many cases adults must have bought tickets on behalf of their children,

1,000 people on the system won't have been to 10 away games though!
I have 9 away games registered on my address. But also, 1 registered under me, but with my dad's address.

I reckon I have about 3 away games registered under my name but have been to over 10 this season. Unluckily I always rely on the same mate to get me tickets as do others as he works around the brit. Whats wrong with first come first serve, 1 ticket per person? This seems like a bollocks way of doing it.
Know some colchester lads so the wheels have been set in motion to get in there end. fingers crossed.

When i got my sheff wed tickets, the bloke said he didnt know anything about the colchester thing or what the crack was yet. If its a must win game then i want to go, but me and mates buy tickets between us, so we have like 4 or 5 each, but in total weve only missed one game away this season, being rochdale:/

even though my mate books all the away tickets i know it will be on the system that i have been to 14 away games. there was something that happened last season where i was shown the screen that showed how many matches i had been to even though my mate books the tickets, so they do have it on file so to speak.

If I have any issues i will be going down to the ground and throwing all my ticket stubs at them from this season, especially the likes of Norwich, palace, scunthorpe, Charlton etc... when there were less tha 900 there. According to the system I only been to watford because, like others my mate books ticket ton there card and were areNEVER asked for ID cards.... the fact I go everywhere has to be relevant!!!

Tickets should be sold to season ticket holders first, simple as. We were promised priority for away tickets when we bought our S/T's and thats what we should be given. I'm another person who's been to over 10 away games this season, but hasn't got all of them logged on the system because sometimes other people have bought my ticket for me. This 10 away games system just seems unworkable and grossly unfair to many of the people that it's supposed to be benefitting! I haven't kept all of my ticket stubs either

i mite go and try sit in the home end, once im through the turnstyle ill get me stoke shirt on You don't have a hope in hell, its the last EVER game at layer rd, and tickets are only being sold to those already on their data base as for this ... first come first served to ST holders .... 800 tickets for colchester, over 8000 season ticket holders .... you have had first priority on away tickets all season , I expect it will work like this . season ticket holders who have been to 10 away games or more first (doubt there are many non ST holders who have been more than 10 to be honest) .... then any left will be first come first served to season ticket holders

is the 10 game thing true. . . as someone told me that if you went to norwich away you could have one aswell ??? there is no way this 10 game thing is true mate. dont worry about it. the club are surely not thick enough to introduce a system which clearly has so many floors. ive only been to 7 away games this season, because of financial issues etc, but the system will have me down as going to 0. because i live in leicester, i rely on my friends getting my tickets for me. the system should be first come, first served for me. i for one would gladly kip overnight outside the ticket office. if that doesnt deserve a ticket i dont know what does.

first come first served my arse. If the fans who've followed the club week in week out don't get a ticket for this one it's a disgrace.
I've been to 12 including Nowich, Palace and Charlton midweek but if there are 800 fans who've been to more then good luck to them I'll watch it on the beam back..........

This is a load of bollocks.I like quite a few fans on here have been to every away game but it only shows that i have been to 11 away games.(The others have been got by friends).I get 4 tickets on a regular basis ( 1 is for the wife ).I Like others were at Palace,Scunny,Charlton and Norwich but the system shows only me getting the tickets. We should be the first come first serve. We run a mini bus to every away game and there is 12-14 of us who go ( one lad gets 6 tickets for his mates who travel with us ),so these fans should get tickets but if the system shows that any of them haven't been to the away games then these loyal fans who are willing to travel to the far away games midweek will not get a ticket. Has I said a load of bollocks.

As people have said the clubs records ( at least on the online ticket site ) are flawed.
Added to which it appears the club unwittingly added to the disquiet by announcing via email replies and at the recent meet the Chairman meeting that they'd be looking into the possiblity of allocating tickets based on the away games attended, before checking if they had the records to support that system...that is unless the clubs internal records are more concise than those of the online ticket site.
Fans being fans, looking into and possibilities turn to fact
Flawed, doesn't mean they wont still go down this route , but with the club supposedly having the most rigid away system ( and still unpopular in some quarters ) in the country it's surely not unreasonable that in return for supporters to expect records to be accurate if that's what the club are to use.
The club need to make an announcement

I know a good few lads who go away and get in on fake ID's
THATS how flawed a system it is.

From the start I've said the ID scheme itself has many flaws, that if your determined or organised enough you can exploit
Though that's a side issue, except that having signed up to the scheme those that did ( in many cases reluctantly ) should IMHO expect the scheme to be run effeciently for 'them'

I have no answers as to how the tickets will be allocated but here are a couple of facts. The club are NOT doing a "Must have been to 10 games" the first they saw such a suggestion was on the Oatcake and it is not something they are considering. The club are very well aware that many people attend games but others get their tickets for them. Example those who travel on minibuses often have an individual getting everyones ticket. Same applies to some who travel on the Official Coaches. As of last Thursday the Club had not decided how to handle the Colchester Ticketing allocation. I have been to all but Cardiff - I only have 4 in my name.
