Granted we should have won the game anyway but TP is 100% correct to criticize the extreme unprofessionalism of the ref, the fact is he had his players perfectly set up to play a match but due the ref that usual routine was hammpered. It is an excuse but to be fair it is quite a valid one in the circumstances, we are the business end of our biggest season in 23 years and we need everything to be planned perfectly and the plans TP made were messed up, thats a valid excuse for me

irish - there is no such thing as a VALID EXCUSE.
An excuse, by its very nature, is a way of worming out of responsibility for something that should have been done differently.
Injuries happen in football, and I'm sympathetic to both Diao and Cort, but the long and short is that they're professional sportsmen; they should know their bodies better.
I repeat, Blackpool suffered no injuries, yet had the same preparation we did.
Pulis is definitely blaming the referee, suggesting that the injuries upset his "plans" for the game. Injuries can happen anytime, you need to be better prepared with alternative plans for such eventualities ... oh, hang on .....
