Actim stats don't lie, even un-officially, it has to be Liam Lawrence. On his day, the guy is bloomin fantastic, Riccy is close behind. I think Gera is over-rated, good player but not as good as some make him out to be. LIAM BY FAR I would suggest that you haven't seen him enough then. He's a Premiership player, too good for this division. Wasn't at his best last season due to his head not being quite right but this season he has been sensational at times. First touch is immaculate, fantastic in the air, great array of passing and he gets his share of goals. He has also performed in the Prem too which most of the players in this division can't claim. Liam Lawrence is having an excellent season. The best of his career so far, the test will be if he can replicate it next year no matter what division he is in. Phillips was voted as the Championship player of the year. He was top scorer last season and looks like he's going to be it again this season. Someone suggested he is an impact player which is utter nonsense. His first touch is sensational and his movement means defenders just can't live with him at this level - and then there is his finishing - different class. I doubt whether he could still do it in the Prem though. Jonathan Greening is brilliant, barely misplaces a pass and gets on every 2nd or 3rd ball to keep us ticking over. I like Boaz Myhill in goal at Hull, i think he'll go onto bigger things along with Hennessy and Murray at the Dingles. Fuller has to be worth a shout too as he is unplayable on his day at this level.

hard decision really if you think about it.. Lawrence statistically is the best player in the Championship, and as albion said.. it will be a test for him to see if he can replicate that next season, i believe he can. I can't recall any bad performances from him this season. Phillips is of course a quality player, his finishing is superb as is his fitness, even at that age. Fuller on his day, nobody in the championship can stop him (not even West Brazil ) but if i had to choose out of those 3, i'd say Lawrence.. Biased opinion? .. probably is ;D haha

Ye it has to be Liamo, hes been unbelievable this seasson, but i have to agree with albion that Gera is a brilliant player and one we should try and sign when we get promoted

the actim index must be run by stoke fans too then

we maybe rate opposition players too much because we only see the good things they do when we watch highlights on tv.

If stoke players weren't doing so well in ACTIM we'd be saying it was a load of shite!
No way shawcross, cort and robinson are the three best defenders, just that our boys' goals and robinson's assists (west brom do pretty much play him as a left winger) have got them to the top. Both our and WBA's defensive records are fairly shabby, I reckon the weighting for defender goals/assists must be a little to heavy.
