I know the guy is a bit of an arrogant prick and used to place at the Maracana Hawthorns and also the fact that basically, he's shite in the Premiership. But he was a proven goalscorer at Championship level and has fantastic pace. After Tone saying that we needed someone who can get behind the defence and beat them for pace in Ric's absence, would Kamara do a job for us?. Hodgson doesn't seem to rate him as highly as McBride and Co. He has similar attributes to Riccy and could be a perfect temporary replacement, whilst God is suspended.

i dont like him at all, he'd have to win the fans over i think
complete waste of 8m on fulhams part. they could have got a better striker AND a winger for that money

If he was available, I think he'd be great at this level.
He seemed to be an absolute star for West Brom last year; very similar to Fuller at his best.

If he scores the goals, it wouldn't bother me who we got in. We need someone tho!

If he was half as good as his dad used to be then I think it's worth going for him.

No! He looks like an uninterested arrogant prick to me! To be fair, that's how the Wolves fans described Bothroyd, whose actual production was well down on Kamara. And Kamara does seem to match perfectly the description Pulis gave yesterday of the kind of striker he's after. "When Ric isn't doing it, we need another threat. We need that player who has the pace to get behind defences like he can." 23 goals in this league last season too, and he seemed to be consistently on fire all the way through. I can't see Fulham letting him go though, and maybe he's lost his motivation now he's got a big Premier contract.

he has played for portsmouth before (even if it wasn't whilst TP was there) so it would be a likely signing

I checked fulham's last 3 games. He came on against Man U on the 1st march in the 93 min and hasn't made the bench since. Unless he is injured it would seem he is surplus to requirements... Now that signing would p*ss off brazil fans :-)

He's the clone of Rick, but scores more in this league.
IF he wants to sign, get him in.

Like trying to mark the Fuller Brothers. Good Luck! He'd be one hell of a coup if we had a chance - and the Baggies would be seriously pissed off.

Now now, you get your kicks out of all the West Brazil jibes but doe tek Joe Kamara - that would be a p!sstake.
I love the guy. He was amazing at times last season. He can win games on his own, he's too good for the Championship and would do you a great job. He frightens people to death with his pace. Plus, he likes to wind opposition fans up - including the dingles.
The problem is his agent who was in his ear a lot last year.

He does seem to ooze quality at this level. But I think he and Fuller would need one ball each if they played together (ooh-err Missus) they seem to have the same strengths and weaknesses (and maybe Bothroyd does too, but without the end product?)
He's certainly another who wouldn't come to sit on the bench, and would Pulis go into the last 5 games without Mama?

So do you think we're looking for ANOTHER supersub?
Someone who'll basically be happy to come off the bench to replace Fuller (when available surely he'll start) for the last 20 minutes?
And would anyone half-decent be prepared to drop to the C'ship in such circumstances?
Haven't we already got Gallagher and Bothroyd who'll come on late in the game if we need a spark.
In the right circumstances and if he could get a partner for Fuller of the right quality, maybe Pulis would be prepared to go Mamaless; maybe he would've done last season if Parkin wouldn't have been recalled and surely he would've done if the Nugent deal would have gone through.

nath is he does, I promise you an exalt. Kamara is a player with an abundance of ability. Still can't believe Fulham think they would be better off without him.

if kamara came on loan would be a good signing in me eyes, can score plenty of goals from when he was at west brazil and at this level is very good.
we really need a striker in now is not looking likely this will be before blackpool gamem, but oulis should try get a decent striker in before sheff wed prefably karmara or mpenza.

Kamara would be a superb acquisition. With McBride now back to fitness, it surely must mean that he/Healy are available for loan.
Of the two, Kamara would be the better on paper but perhaps his similar attributes to Fuller would mean Healy would eb a better partner?
Let us not forget that almost 30% of our remaining games will be without Fuller in the team
