Such as? ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/7TTgAtwUz19SBi0cvrCX.gif) Robin Van Persie, Bentnder, Vela, all far better than Fuller, who has only scored 3 goals, which is terrrible! I'll give you Van Persie but Bendtner?

Anyone who thinks Vela is better than Fuller needs to give up and watch darts or something instead.
Bendtner and Fuller are two very different types of striker. He's probably not good enough for Arsenal, but there aren't many better strikers for fitting into our target man role - he'd be a dream signing for our system.

Brum fans loved Bendtner and he did very well in the Premier League for them so the comment about "anyone would score those chances at Arsenal" doesn't really hold water. Bendtner has obvious limitations but does a great job and, although I wouldn't argue against the theory that he's a less TALENTED player than Ric, I'm sure that Wenger sees him as a better option for Arsenal and I would agree with him. He's done very well for them and this rubbish about him being hopeless is a bit like those who STILL insist that Crouch isn't an international player (because he doesn't look like a footballer) when, in actual fact, he disproves that constantly. Bendtner is at Arsenal for a good reason.

Well Arsen Wenger does and for all the twat faced, lunacy that the dick head comes out with, I do believe he knows a good player when the sees one. History would tend to support that theory I believe. As well as bendter there are grimandi, cygan, stepanovs, wiltord, jeffers, edu, reyes, sylvestre off the top of my head that say that he has his misses as well as his hits doz. And some of them cost a fortune.

Colonel: It's undoubtedly true that ALL managers get it wrong sometimes mate, but some of those you mentioned i.e. Wiltord, Edu and Reyes can hardly be put in that class. Wiltord made an excellent contribution to Arsenal and Wenger was gutted to lose Edu and Reyes (both of whom wanted to leave). Bendtner has contributed well whenever picked and some of the comments about him on here are well off the mark.
Edit: Wenger gets it wrong like everyone else on occasions but he, probably massively more than any other manager, comes out hugely in credit when you list his failures against his successes in bringing young players into the Premier League and without spending anywhere near the sums his rivals do. He certainly knows a good player but they're mnot all going to pay off (at any club). So far, how can anyone claim that Bendtner has been a failure??

Bentner has contributed well recently but his turn around happened about the time of that header against us. Until then he has been as popular amongst Arsenal fans as a certain mama is here. I'd love a swap mind.
