Away matches have always beaten the home games. The comrardery and the risk of the away match do it for me. See you all at the weekend for what is lining up to be one of the most important matches in years. I've got corporate hospitality tickets at Manure for the 23rd against the scouse and I'd swap them tomorrow for a win at Vicarage Road on Saturday ;D

In years gone by we'd have snapped up 4500 no probs
ID cards have wrecked the away day 'culture' - I know more and more stokies who havent been to an away match since they were introduced - Very sad when all is required is a £10 bit of plastic and (for those who have them) the need to swallow your principles.

Calgarypotter, I have 4 hospitality tickets for the Manure vs Arsenal game, and I would swap 4 3 points

wouldnt it be great if thay relaxed the id cards for this fixture. I am sure we would sell a lot more tickets for one of the biggest games for stoke in years.

Why do they still actually have ID cards? Last time I was back in the UK in 2004 we (unfortunately) went to the Forest away game & sat in the family area. We had to be very reserved, but it helps having the kids with you. My brother-in-law is going to the game on Sat, but he is a local so I don't think he will have a problem.

this one really shouldn't be an id issue. We took 6K to Arsenal for a game that, whilst sending a few giddy, wasn't really an important game.
Saturday is possibly our most important game in over two decades - we should be taking at least 3k imho.
I'll hold my hands up - since AVTAK finished and with my little un's growing up, I've knocked awaydays on the head a bit. But this really is a biggie and Watford is a cracking awayday - ground in the centre, cracking pubs, no prospect of mither, 2 hours away etc.
The Newcastle and Arsenal games brought out the giddiness in a few. It's THIS game that matters.
And surely the blood sweated by our players this season deserves a real Stoke turnout this weekend?
