Back to Celtic me thinks and rob how about they might ask about Pulis rather than the other way round?

Judging from the Villa forums, there's a surprising amount of indifference/pleasure that this might be true.
Which is quite shocking.

Of course Tone could be being lined up for Liverpool and MON is simply clearing the decks to move to the Britannia. ;D

I don't see why villa fans would want him out. he is a great manager imo. I can see tony mowbray coming in for them and fucking everything up

I can see tony mowbray coming in for them and fucking everything up - Negative, defensive, long ball play - Lots of money spent, often not particularly well - Has his favourites and hasn't used his squad well (hence they're now having their usual end of season drop off) Not really a million miles away from the criticisms levelled at TP. Not saying I agree with it like.

Nothing on SSN just though. Looking on Villa's "Heroes and Villains" website (their oatcake) they had a huge thread yesterday mentioning a supposed fall out between MON and Lerner - my guess is the Mirror picked up on this and created the "story" from there. Seems suspicious that no reliable site has reported it yet

probably for the best. o'neil is a good manager and I can see him pushing villa on if they had some money in the summer. I'd much prefer villa to be in the top 4 than spurs, man citeh and liverpool anyway. and if he went there's a chance that villa would go for pulis

Not that I'm complaining, he's doing a fine job here.

What's going on? Has he left? Has he come back?

It's not really a "sexy" appointment though, and Villa would surely go for a biggish name to boost season ticket sales?

Coates wanted O'Neill before Pulis. And Pulis has hinted that he wants to return down south (to his new Sandbanks home) after next season, so it could be a good time to bring O'Neill in, before someone else snaps him up.

Villa play proper football under O'Neill and play the game in the spirit it was intended, just like us. Wonder if they'll want TP to keep up the good work?

Bloody hell - I read the first page of this and had a quick search for it on Google and it now turns out it wasn't happening anyway? What's going on? Has he left? Has he come back? Both........... I think you're right. I think him and Randy had a lovers tiff after Randy refused to let Martin dunk his hobnob in Randy's tea. Martin having never been refused before threw a little tantrum and stormed out, stamping on a tea cup on his way through the door. Emile Heskey tried to stop Martin from leaving through the main entrance (he works as a part time security man) but slipped over when he was trying to run towards Martin. As Martin was getting in his car he saw the reflection of James Milners spotty face and thought to himself "you know what, it could be worse - I could look like that" and shut the car door and went to go back in. Heskey had just got to his feet but wasn't standing on the rug and slipped straight back over. Martin knocked on the boardroom door and apologised to Randy for being so moody. Randy offered him a 7 Up but Martin burst into tears because Randy was really mocking him about Sundays defeat. (There are no euphemism in this detailed story)
