Pretty much agree with 'thats entertainment':
Simmo - Because Nash is an out-of-match-practice version of Simmo anyway
Wilko - Because Griffin is a liability, and we were a better team before he signed IMO Cort - No real choice Riggott - Has the edge of experience over Shawcross Dicko - Because he's a better defender than Pugh and Griffin combined
Lawro - Obvious Delap - Obvious Pugh - In better form than Diao, and will complement Delap better IMO Gally - Because Cresswell is a useless winger
Mama - I don't see any real alternative, and he scares opposition defences shitless Fuller - Because we haven't signed a replacement! I really wish we could drop him ATM, but no real choice
Bench: Nash, Shawcross, Griffin, Diao, Cresswell

IF that's true and Pugh was moved to the wing, something like this would be a step forward...
Still no Gallagher - but a slight move forward, and he'd be getting there...albeit slowly.
Nash Griffin-Riggott-Shawcross-Dickinson Lawrence-Diao-Delap-Pugh Fuller-Cresswell
It would also mean that he'd finally grab the bull by the horns and drop Mama unless Cresswell was benched. But the (possibly informed) question marks in the local media seem to have surrounded Mama...
But it would mean, inexplicably, Diao was retained?

personally i wouldnt play pugh on the wing at this stage of the season when we need to win every game i would play Gally but i have a feeling Gally wont play until Lawrence is suspended.
interesting to see if cressie is going to get a run up top with fuller or if he plans to play him with mama and use fuller as an explosive sub after 60 mins

Gary I would start with Fuller. Play really solid with Fuller up on his own, getting on to Mama's flick ons.
I think the first goal is massive tonight, so let's hope Rici can nick one on the break before they remember how dangerous he is.

If it is to be Fuller-Cresswell, it'll be interesting to see where Cresswell plays; in the Sidibe role or up alongside Fuller?
And if Gally has to wait 'til Saturday for a start, let's hope he grasps his chance and makes himself undroppable. Pulis seems VERY reluctant to play him. If Pugh starts there tonight, it seems Gallagher's even 3rd in line for a start at left wing?

It seems the doubts as to whether Gallagher is a "Pulis player" may well hold some truth. He obviously doesn't track back enough or get stuck into challenges with sufficient ferocity for Pulis' liking. Maybe we should put him on the Parkin diet to beef him up a bit? Never mind that he has a quick football brain, even quicker feet and an eye for goal that Mama could only dream about. He may have worked wonders this season, but our manager dunner half get on my tits with some of his stubborn ways.
