Isaac, Italian Stokie is from Italy although he has lived in North Staffs for some time. What problem do you have with Italians? Would you have the same problem if we signed an Italian player? Absolutely. I dont really understand why so many people say all this "go back to Italy" shit. Its a little odd. Its not like i dont go either im gonna miss the remainder of the season as ive got to go back to Italy, so what. Youve got to get a grip of your comments and calm down. Some people on here get so angry for no reason. I asked a simple question as to whether we could sign Ohara outside the transfer window because i though Portsmouth were allowed to or something. Anyway dude shut up and calm the fuck down you crazy little maverick. Whenever i post something like "Tuncay is a great player" im suddenly gay and wanting to toss him off, or when i say "Collins is the most skilfull defender at the club" i get told i dont go to games or something and Collins cant defend. Its unbelievable, theres very little respect.

Italian Stokie - regarding O'Hara - he is a Spurs player so we won't be allowed to sign him outside the window even if he were to leave Portsmouth before the end of the season.

I hope Tone can use his connection with 'Arry to pull this one off, if Brum get him infront of us i'd be very pissed off... he's a cracking player.

Fuck off bayern............ ;D I loved Salif when he first joined. We had gone from Brammer and Russell who couldn't pass a ball for love nor money to Diao who not only could pass but to people in red and white stripes! He looked (as he should) a class above and was brilliant in his initial spell. "He's here, he's there, he's every fucking where, Salif Diao, Salif Diao!". As his time here has gone on though, he has looked less able and it's sad imo.

I think that some of the name calling and abuse on the Oatcake messageboard has ruined the forum. Certain posters seem to get away with murder either on the football section or the GDB. Until Admin stamp it out then the board will be ruined by childish idiots who thinks its funny to call someone names.....

We paid 5million for Whitehead so for something similar for O'Hara would this be a cracking deal and somebody we need to 'push on'!

Due to Tones close friendship with Arry i think theres a bloody good chance we will see him at the Brit next season.
A good buy IMO..

When O'Hara does eventually leave Spurs, it'll be for a damn site more than 4 million quid. If TP paid double that amount for his services in the summer, I doubt there'd be too many dissenting voices in Stoke-on-Trent. I think 4m is reasonable for him i cant see why he would be worth anymore even in todays market. If you can list another 5 Premiership central midfielders who are as good as O'Hara and who are at a similar age who wouldn't cost more than 4 mil, then I guess you've got a point. He's had an astounding season this term, playing in an absolutely god awful team ... Hull paid 3 mil for Olofinjana earlier this season and turned down 5 mil (or was it actually 6 in the end?) from Wolves for Hunt. Furthermore, as I said earlier in the thread, if Spurs do put him up for sale, then you're going to have the likes of Fulham, Brum, Newcastle and Sunderland all interested in him as well as us ... which will push up the final price he goes for in the end I would have thought.

Etherington------o'hara-----whitehead/parker------penant
whould be a cracking midfield. Then add a £15 strike and champions league here we come :-)
