they really should have some kind of memorial, i just hope they have this in mind when they actually do something with the land. Instead of having a memorial, how about a small stadium which the reserves & youth teams could use? This way the club would have its own facility/reserve stadium & the supporters would be able to watch football at the clubs former home once more!

It isn't enclosed the pitch is too far from the stands the tunnel is next to the away fans the car parking is a joke well to me the gap in between the stands would probably be more to do with affording it than not wanting it. i actually like the look it gives it as well. the pitch is the length we decide it to be. the club decides where the away fans sit. the car park is a joke i agree on that.

'Stadiums' are for crappy athletics and greyhound racing.
'Grounds' are for football.

agree that PC/Moxey would have developed the Vic as cheaply as poss
there were plans to build a 9000 seat stand with exec boxes (i.e. something akin to the John Smiths stand) on the Butler St side (it was in the Sentinel so it must be true).
the Boothen would prob have had a new roof but otherwise seats plonked on top of terracing (as would the paddocks) & it would have killed the place
had another owner - or had PC had the £££ he has now maybe the n yes we should have stayed at the Vic & re-built it properley
agree with Fornside when he says the changing rooms should be moved to the JC/Boothen corner
a small football ground for reserves/youth sides & general community use also providing an extra focal point for the club on the old site is a fantastic idea.

Depressing that the Vic land is still vacant. But the move to the Brit was absolutely the right thing to do.
