Just thought I'd pop in and see how you all are, seeing as a lot of you have mysteriously disappeared off our Brazilian forums recently...
What's happened? Did you crack under the pressure or did you just overachieve? Are you in a false position?
I watched the QPR game... dear oh dear, what a shambles! What happened to the hustle and bustle, the Fuller magic etc I saw at the Brit when you beat us?
Oh, and FYI, the league is won in May, not February as some of your more esteemed members seemed to believe.

We were just letting you catch up so we can make sure we go up together as we may well need our customary 6 points of you lot next season! ;D
Oh, and where are West Brazil now? Still behind us, of course.

It's won in May? That's good news!
I was under the impression your lot had won it back in December for some reason.

We could do with another trip to Wembley. Hopefully our players will be busting a gut to get in the Wembley FA Cup Semi Final team. Interesting that yourselves, Brizzle and Watford all have to play each other, whilst we only play Watford at home. Should be an exciting run-in...

Oh well thanks for the information, now we all know when the league is over we can get back to playing the last 10 games.
I agree we did get a little carried away but at least we got carried away with a dozen games to go and not before the Christmas party had been arranged, it seemed over in Rio De Smethwick you have been arranging the open top bus parade for months, even as you slid down the table.
I would point out that despite your win you’re still behind us and while you have a game in hand you actually have to win it. As you say getting carried away seems to be in vogue I suggest you remember that till May, cause apparently that’s when the league ends.
It’s nice of you to be concerned though for us, it seems you were so concerned you went to a neighbouring area which had electricity and learned how to type, I am impressed.
Good luck on Saturday a nice 1-1 draw and bring them back to Rio, I am sure the Gas heads will enjoy that I mean a trip to Rio in march is something a lowly third tier side don’t get often.

Seriously, I have a couple of good mates who are WBA fans and I have always thought we had a decent rapport (a shared hatred of Wolves uniting us), but this season I have begun to have my doubts.
I don't know whether it is a couple of seasons in the Prem giving you delusions of grandeur, or the sycophantic arse-licking of the Midlands press, who studiously refuse to acknowledge our existence as promotion contenders whilst making out you are some sort of Championship Arsenal, going to your heads, but there does seem to be an unhealthy predilection amongst Baggies towards being right up your own arses this season.
Why is this? Is it permanent? Is it some glory-hunting Johnny-come-lately Baggies who only started watching you once you got to the Prem, who forgot, or don't even know, that you were in the third tier of English football not much more than a decade ago?

Personally, although we have the shared hatred of those lot from Molinspew, I don't think we've ever had a decent rapport with each other. Probably because you never let us beat you once in a while!!
I haven't come here to crow that we've won the elague, nor did I crow that we were up in December. Those that did are fools. Every club has them.
Is it our fault that the media enjoy the way we play? We don't choose to have all the media coverage it comes with the attractive (or tippy tappy in your terms) football. You have your way, we have ours. You've probably been unfairly treated by the media because, let's be fair, whilst you do hoof on the occassion and use set plays to great effect you play some decent stuff aswell.
I think you're right when you say some of our fans are big headed, but hey, so are some of yours. God, even crap teams like Wolves still have fans that believe they're going up through the playoffs!!

Thanks for at least having a decent debate without resorting to silly name-calling.
I am not sure why we get our respective media coverage - unfortunately the national press have a set stereotype of a "Pulis team" which they lazily churn out when writing about us. I won't pretend we play total football, we do get the ball forward early and are good at set pieces (so are O'Neill's Villa, but they have not been tarred with the same brush), but any team with Lawrence, Whelan, Fuller and Gallagher in it cannot be summarily dismissed as long ball hit and hope merchants.
Similarly, whilst your lot do play the ball through the team on the deck more than us, Bednar appears to be a big bruiser of an old-fashioned centre forward and, in the few times I have seen WBA play this season, you do mix it up a bit, as all teams must do, and are not averse to the odd long ball when circumstances dicate.
I may get panned on here, but I would like both teams to go up - even setting aside our bogey team status to you.
