I don't usually get involved in these threads because there are people who are far more suited and knowledgeable than me. But.......................... At the end of the day I'm a Stoke City Fan and I want to see them do well and stay in business. It really is that simple to me and always has been. If the Icelanders get us to the Premier league and don't bankrupt the club and leave it in a total "Leeds" then I couldn't give a shite how much money they make out of it. In fact, good luck to them. At the moment we seem to be making great strides forward on the pitch and, with the excellent season ticket offer, not as bad as it could be off it. Ever since I can remember the Board of Stoke City have been "alledgedly" Wank. Henshall Out! Coates Out! Icelanders Out! Thank God we never had to go through Kenyon out! And we would have done if the Supporters had got their wishes. The Brothers Grimm

Dave's example of £500k being raised is just an example but it is on the low side. A club with our fan base should certainly be able to raise £2 million or more from a fans share issue - which is enough to considerably change the financial position - in our case it could wipe out the commercial (bank) debt for example. ! Mr Fornside Sir, Please run the thinking process by us that leads you to the conclusion that Stoke City supporters would have no problem in raising £2million to buy shares in the club. I am staggering with disbelief. I contend that we would not get near to buying a 25% stake in the club, even if given the opportunity to do so. As you know, anything less is pretty useless and as such I cannot get carried away with the enthusiasm for Supporters Trusts that you and a few others share.

Sounds about right to me Mark. Especially as with every passing match we are worth another 10M ;D 2M Isn't that what Darel Russel's left shoelace is worth?
Premiership, I'm not laughing.
