could not believe how easy that was to get to and from the ground yesterday, had my reservations earlier in the week but now that will be a fixture i will go to every time. Train from banbury to marylebone, underground to london bridge, stayed there for a bite to eat and a couple of stellas in the bunch of grapes pub by the station, from london bridge 1 stop to south bermondsey, get off train turn right into the walkway and down to the ground, does not get any easier. good game right result i believe both teams had chances to win, plenty of good banter with the fans on the left, the fat bloke came in for some serious stick. have to congratulate millwall fc for what they have done for away fans actually the safest i have felt at any ground, and this is to their credit.

The funniest was the guy a few seats to my left (row in front) who started singing.
"We thought smudge was fat, we were wrong, we were wrong....." (when smudge was down on the concourse)

Didn't see smudge or hear that.
Just shows we can still have a good day out even with ID cards.

No1 stokie..... if you were stood at back, behind goal (to my right) ..... which is where I think you were.
Smudge was about 6 rows in front of you, his kids & daveF. just behind them was RAF in a ski hat, with thewisemaster & the rest of the "Dartmouth Arms drinking club" including Lesalnos.

put into perspective, it is ages ago that i paid the tenner and fiver for me and my lads id card and its no inconvenience to have to show it at away games, and i like to think that we are playing our part as away fans in the resurgence on the field, thats not trying to take anything away from those who stand by their decision not to get one, but to me away days are a great laff.and currently not to be missed, those that do go all go to make the atmosphere as good as it can be and is. roll on palace next week, see you all in weatherspoons, there will be three of us from banbury, our accents will give us away, sort of country bumpkin like.
