Don't know how far you want to travel M'lud but Bay Malton Angling Club have about 15-20 sites and I know that the local one is very good.

Try the link below, the guy under the story 'A lucky break' is a friend oof mine, he runs the junior section which should 'suit you sir' www.bafac.co.uk/Mumf if often seen hiding in the bushes aroundthe area on his poaching foray's into our territory.

Fishing is great, sit round a nice lake, few cans and catching a few fish. because i work some saturdays I often go straight up the lake when i finish with a radio and listen to the scores and grumble and grumble

Herronbrook is all on one complex. I want a river or two to have a go on. Hanleys stretch of river is ok but you only catch Trout and Grayling. I want a bit of Barble action

Try Burton Mutual 8miles of the lower Dove and about the same on the Trent plenty of barbel chub carp and bream plus 4 or 5 pools and 8 miles of canal . One of the pools also contains genuine wild carp a really hard fighting fish long lean and mean !
