It's not the fact that we lost because of him. It's more the fact that a cunt like this can send a player off for not even TOUCHING AN OPPOSITION PLAYER, he simply won the ball , stood up, and got sent off.

Anagram of D'URSO - U R SOD.
Sending off of Griffin was possibly the most illogical, perverse referring decision I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot given the crap refs we usually get.

Grow up "blame the Ref". No one on this thread has suggested that Stoke deserved to win the game or that we didn't make many mistakes.
This is a thread about a referee who was either not looking at the tackle by Griffin or was blind as a bat. I can understand refs missing things that happen in a game but how a ref can see a perfectly fair tackle and then give a red card is beyond me. I reckon he didn't see the incident clearly and if so he was being dishonest to give a red card.

Looking at the replay, Durso was in a position where he could see right across at the tackle going in. No player was obstructing his view. He has no excuses. We won't have a comment made in response from him or the imcompetent FA about his performance in the game though. It wasn't just the sending off, there were numerous decisions that he made which were unreal.

The crazy thing is, he took the red card out STRAIGHT AWAY!!
He didn't consult his assistant!

I think he saw their player fly in the air and I think he saw Griffin sprinting to the ball at full whack and put 2 and 2 together and pulled out his red card without thinking.
And for not thinking and missing what happened he is A CUNT!

Stoke City cannot control the referee chosen or his decisions - we can control what team we put out and how we approach games. We were piss poor today and were not aided by some equally 'debatable' referring. But by this point the game was beyond even our capabilities I felt - to win anyway. We looked slow, lacklustre and unable to get a grip on the game. There are evidently problems in this side that need ironing out and we would be more productive discussing these than launching multiple hate campaigns against someone who has made a decision that has actually spurred us into to some sort of action.
