In order Etherington- offers so much to the team, quick, tricky, fantastic delivery. Tuncay- need I say more? Whitehead- coming into his own; looks neat on the ball and not afraid to make a challenge and break up play. Shawcross- young, solid defender, covers well when others make mistakes. Sorenson- safe pair of hands.

Sorensen - Stokes only world class player, and a shame for him to have never won any serious honours for club or country, cmon lets get the FA cup and denmark to win the world cup! Shawcross - has a bright future and is england caliber as long as he can get over his knee problems, otherwise he's just another ledley king. Wilkinson - stayed put all these years and finally proving his quality as a fullback, one day one of those runs from deep will result in a goal of the season. Tuncay - shit myself the day he signed, could not believe that stoke signed a player of such international pedigree for such a small price compared to other players of his quality, vision and skill, disappointed that he has had to play up front as he offers so much more to the team. Sidibe - I know a lot of people say he is a clunking no skill league 1 player, but i think he brings the players around him up a level, so what if he doesn't score many, when he does get one he looks so happy, a loyal servant of the club and I don't think he will ever leave. level headed and consistent. in the portsmouth at home game when him and lawrence came on they changed the game, great link up between the 2 players, it's a shame that lawrence has waned so much this season cos he coulda been in the list, but he's spent to many hours kissing beattie and it's had a negative effect on the team.
honourable mentions:
simonsen whitehead lawrence cort etherington
dont understand the sexwee about fuller, seems like a once in a blue moon player to me. sure he's the most prolific player currently in the squad, but 15 goals in the promotion season for a centre forward? lawrence got 15 from right wing. not convinced about the benefit of him staying and i hope that the loss of his mood swings will benefit the team if and when he leaves.

Tin hat time but i actually agree with that post...Not Fullers biggest fan but i do admit when he is on form he is impossible to defend against but don't think he should go

Liam Lawrence - Plays his heart out every time and was instrumental in our promotion year Tuncay - Absolute Stoke legend in the making Ricardo Fuller - Magician, the guy turns a game Matty Etherington - Finally a decent left winger with trickery and pace Ryan Shawcross - Future superstar and solid at the back for us.

wow - I'm pleasantly surprised at how difficult this is, but I'll go for: Etherington Tuncay Sorensen Shawcross Fuller Whitehead almost sneaked in - and I'm also a fan of Huth's but he needs to clean his act up a bit to make my top 5. Maybe at the end of the season we'll need to have a top 10!!! Edit - and how could I miss out Faye.

These three are always my faves. The other two places vary most weekends between Fuller, Whelan, Tommy and Ethers.
Other than steino. Tuncay is my favourite Stoke player of all time and he's only played several games.
