Just warning people without id cards that you will need them this time.
I've just been on official site and it clearly sasy in red bold that id cards will be needed for this game.

I think it said exactley the same last year if I'm not mistaken. The club totally denied the fact that you could get in without an I.D. card despite the fact that Crystal Palace were singing it from the rooftops that you could.
I should imagine that it'll be the same scenario this year

It's Crystal Palace that people need to be speaking to, not Stoke City. Palace have the answers to this one.
Would hate to see any Stokie travel all that way and not get in, which is what happened to quite a few for the second game in Milton Keynes!

Not going! Spoke to the ticket office at Stoke and they showed me a Palace headed letter saying they agree with the ID and will abide by it this time. I think something else is taking place that day anyway, so the missus keeps telling me. At least i wont be stranded in the smoke!

If hundreds do turn up without id cards ala Wimbledon - they would be allowed in the away end! I might be wrong but it would be safer to have them in the away end than wondering around outside the ground or in the home ends!

At Wimbledon they just let about 75 lads wander around and they didn't let them in.
Don't know if security at Palace would be anywhere near as tight though... it's easier to organise a 3,000 crowd as opposed to a 17,000 one.

2-300 knuckle draggers turned up (along with 1000 nice regular fans of course + 3/400 ID card holders)
started singing "no-surrender" & "shove your ID cards up your arse" .. also reports of trouble in pubs around area, and a definite "edge" that has thankfully been a thing of the past at away games with ID crads in force
