Seems we along with a few other division 1 clubs have been checking on Newcastle's Scottish midfielder Brian Kerr. Notts Forest keen to take him on loan until the end of the season after missing out on another loan believed to be Nathan Blake.
Wigan, Sheff Utd and ouselves apparently had him watched this week. believe he was at coventry on loan last year or the year before. Know nothing about him.

JR, might be a good idea to see who he was playing alongside at Coventry then. It could be a recommendation from John Eustace ;D

Never thought of that Rex. Chances are they played together at some point.

Doesn't look like Forest are interested?
"Paul went to watch him play but he's only one of several players we were looking at in that game.
"We won't be doing a deal because he's no better than the players we've already got," the spokesman added.
