Not ideal today but Blackburn look all over the shop going on todays evidence. Said it all season. They're so inconsistent because they are solely relying on Szmodics.

How Szmodics hasn't won player of the season I will never know. My thoughts exactly. Only argument against is Leeds are going up? Possibly, but from watching Rovers every home game this season (they're not great at all) Sammie Szmodics has absolutely saved them from certain relegation.

The fact they used the actual glove from the crime scene that was drenched in blood is laughable. Can they not find a same size and design glove? Why was he wearing gloves whilst putting on gloves that had been covered in blood? Took him 20 seconds trying to get them on and about 2 seconds to pull them off. Blood will shrink the gloves too.

I'd be terrified if I was a Blackburn fan. Can’t see Blackburn going down. They’ve got goals in them, and looked a decent side to me when they beat us the other week and also against Newcastle in the cup game on Tuesday. They've got goals in 1 player. They're extremely leaky.

Yep Dont touch it. Get a professional in. 1000s still die from asbestos diseases every year. Only you won’t realise you have breathed it for a few years Well this is the thing. I’ve already touched it, but I don’t know if it contains asbestos or not. It’s like a textured wallpaper on plasterboard. The ceiling is slightly damaged and it’s only been brought to my attention recently about asbestos which is giving me a lot of anxiety

Great time to play Rovers. The manager very clearly doesn't want to be there and you can't really blame him with the absolute shit show they have going on behind the scenes.
They've had issues with transfers not being completed in the past because of failed paperwork and it looks like they've cocked up again. They even stopped the manager from speaking to the media so looks like there's potentially been a fall out as well.
Ones to watch: Sammie Szmodics - League top scorer, playing more advanced, but was very poor last game and may even be injured as he limped off.
Sam Gallagher - 2 in 2 for him, always works hard, Rovers look a better team when he's playing. He's tall, but not as great in the air as you'd think.
Rankin-Costello - Full back that likes to get forward. Only just came back from injury recently, but JDT might set up with a 3 at the back where he will have permission to get further up the field and cause problems which he certainly can do.
Defensively Rovers are a shambles and have been brutally exposed from set-pieces. They've brought in Connor O'Riordan 6'6 and Kyle McFadzean who should bolster their aerial issues, however they didn't play on Saturday. Whether that was a message to the people behind the scenes that he didn't get the players he wanted, or it was merely just tactical decisions.
As I said. This is a great time to play Rovers as they are on the ropes and don't look like they have any fight in them. I hope Niall Ennis gets one over on them!

I work at Blackburn Rovers so have seen him all this season.... Well I've actually barely seen him because he never gets a game. Overweight in pre-season, couldn't stay fit, injured every game, poor footballer in general and I don't think he's even bothered one bit. Not happy with this at all. But other than that…..😂😂 I can't even sugar-coat it. He couldn't get a look in and Rovers haven't had a striker all season.

This must be a free transfer I hope! You'd think it'd be our old friend "undisclosed" But doubtful they'll give a 24yo under contract for 3.5 seasons away for nothing? There was a bit of competition for him as a free in the summer. Hopefully considerably less than a mill though, if we ever find out? They're in massive debt and need all the cash they can get even with the Wharton deal bringing them in 20mill, I'd imagine most of it goes straight to the venkys to pocket.

A far better manager in Cooper becomes available and here we are pissing about with this risky manager who wasn’t having much luck at a smaller club. Cooper would’ve been fantastic! Feel like we’ve fucked it again. Do you really and honestly think Cooper would have looked once let alone twice at us? He'll be a shoe in for the next lower Prem gig. Somewhere like Palace when they discover that Woy has actually been dead for the last 6 months. Why not? Honestly.

Really, great, so he complains they haven't learnt and wanted Mowbray 😂 Struggling to understand what's so funny about that? He's an experienced manager that saved Blackburn from the brink of collapse, he's well respected and he will definitely push us up the league which is the most important thing.

We're not a in a position to be doing what we're doing now, it's piss poor decision making and it's not a surprise because it's been that way for a while now. So who would you have had then? Mowbray as I said above

Massive risk. Do the Coates family ever learn? So boring honestly. I think this is going to end badly. Would you have preferred tried and tested, been around the block, same old same old? Too many. It really is like a library. Sometimes you wouldn't even think a game is on it is THAT quiet. I’ve only ever seen 3 things at Ewood Park and that’s grey clouds, rain and 3 points for Stoke. Oh I was at the FA Cup Valentines Day Massacre actually. And the 3-0 loss in the yellow shirts. But the grey clouds and rain are always a constant. Sounds about right! Had to bite my tongue last season when we scored and then won. It's been quite warm recently, won't last long though!

But isn't that because the league changed? I don't really get your argument, the premier league is still the division 1 of English football no matter how many times they change the name. All records should be from when it started or where the data started to be collected. The Carabao cup is still the league cup and that changes its name all the time but the records stand. They just like to be selective with their statistics. I do agree with it, but it's not always so black and white. Things can change with leagues regarding rules etc hence why it's the "Premier league top scorer" not the all time top flight scorer. Either way the current record even if it is morally right or whatever... I still wish that Kane stayed just to knock Shearer of his perch.

I know what you're saying and yeah it is kind of unfair that records are deleted or overlooked. I guess there's a reason to that which I can't explain, but to just be able to say you're the highest scoring player in "Premier League" history surely would be a better thing to tell the grandkids rather than "I went to Bayern Munich and won the league there" I guess it's just a personal preference thing, if he wants to win trophies and that's ultimately his only goal then it's a better choice than Spurs, just a shame he has to go to Germany to try and win something. Understood. Imagine Shearer being gutted when he can't tell his Grandkids about his record because the league got renamed the Super Duper League and the all time record goalscorer in that league was Callum Wilson. Yeah I guess it's just the way it is when leagues are changed or whatever, even if it is still the top flight of English Football. It's probably impacted me in a certain way because it's always been a topic heavily talked about amongst friends and even at work so I've always been hoping that Kane would smash that record.

It's a Premier League record hence why the records are from the Premier League or Shearer would've been on 280+ I get what you're saying, but the record is what it is and there's no bullshit about it if we're talking just the Premier League right? I suppose we're splitting hairs at the end of the day. If we said Shearer is the record goalscorer since 1992. That would be equally as accurate and wouldn't mislead anyone. Doesn't sound as good though does it?!

Well it's a personal opinion, but I do feel like people would talk more about a league top scorer than just winning a bundesliga title. If he goes and wins the Champions League fair enough, but I just felt like it was the wrong move for him at this time. I agree with your point on the prestige about being the top scorers. Greaves proves that point I suppose as on his death this was the main point made rather than what he had won. However, that's us. What about the players themselves? Greaves wanted to be in that first 11 in the World Cup Final more than any record goals total. I bet Shearer wouldn't swap his Premier League winners medal for another 100 Newcastle goals. Kane has won fuck all. A bundesliga winners medal would mean alot to him. And we both agree that a Champions League winners medal would definitely be worth it. How many teams have a realistic chance of winners the Champions League right now? Not many, but Bayern are one of them. Are they really a team to be considered though? Tuchel hasn't started that well. I can't really see them winning it, but as you said it's still a chance at that is appealing to most players. I just wish that he went to City when he had that chance last season. Or 2 seasons ago it was? I can't remember.
