it's a win win. get him in. if he lights the league up and gets us promoted we would have a real asset on our hands. If he underwhelming, at 25 we would almost certainly make the money back. he is the type lots of teams want in their 11. They Could also be thinking to make it part of a deal for Butland or Allen or N’Diaye.

He's an absolute hoofer. Man alive he's shite. His Derby side were diabolical in the play offs. 20 odd percent possession in a must win game. Launching the ball into the channels. Just been reading a Derby forum and lot of there fans want him gone saying His style of football is shit and a lot saying he’s another Pulis type of manger .😉

Why is QSF still getting mentioned? He turned us down in Jan so why the hell would he now change his mind and think it's a good idea?! It's going to be interesting... all 3 clubs that have gone down looking for managers plus some much larger Prem sides with vacancies (although likely already having their men lined up).... yet some people seem to think we're just entitled to our first pick no questions asked. Based on the size of the rebuild and restructuring required here, we're probably not such an attractive option to a few of the candidates - some might like and be better suited to that kind of challenge. Reading the Guardian article he left and was not sacked.Wonder if he has another job lined up. Sullivan, not Gold, is the man who holds the power at West Ham. He was the one on the other end of the phone when Moyes said he no longer had any interest in extending his contract and he is the one promising that the club will make a “high-calibre” appointment by the end of next week. After two turbulent seasons at the London Stadium, the pressure has gone up another level.

Senior, experienced players all missing whilst we put 2 18 year olds on bench. A sorry endictment on the transfer team. Could be we are sticking with players that belong to club all the loan players not in squad.

I'm sure a lot of clubs may be at the wire for their FFP. But they do need to be careful or else they could be in serious trouble for example pompey. I would think they are worried that unless they can draw some money from transfer’s they will have to use what they have if they get relegated. Can not think of many of there players that are going to go for big money and most are at the wrong age.

I feel we should apply to the court of protection to have him sectioned . Due to his inability to make correct decisions. This gives all the time we have been in the Premier. Go to Referees at top of page, then to Favourites then Stoke City and pick season's.Mike Deans been doing a good job as well. www.footcharts.co.uk/index.cfm

How can i put this ? YOU TWAT ATKINSON !!! This sums up what a arrogant man this twat is. Martin Atkinson told Stoke City players he was '100 per cent' right and that he and his assistants are 'very good at their jobs' after incorrectly allowing Everton's first goal to stand.

What the fuck was Zouma doing just watching, he had ample opportunity to get stuck in and help clear the ball as it takes 3-4 seconds from Butland spilling it to the ball being buried.. Offside or not that was comedy defending from most of them only Staffy made any attempt to clear the ball after butland had spilled it. I thought exactly the same when I saw the goal played back. He literally stood still just watching what was happening. I'd leave him out for the rest of the season. He won't even be here next season anyway whatever happens. After some of his performances I think he must have a" must play if fit "in his loan agreement .But then again when he's paired with BMI he as played ok so we are back to team selection .

I’m more concerned about the abysmal goalkeeping yet again than the offside. I don’t think you can fully blame the goal keeper as weather conditions where not good ,Pickford wasn’t doing much better. For me I would blame more the players for not playing to the whistle when you’re got the goal keeper and one defender against three attackers. As for the second goal I can not disagree.

Apparently West Ham wanted Slimani but Leicester refused to do business with Karen Brady because of comments made when they got rid of Ranieri. Couldn't happen to a to a "nicer" bunch. Yes, it was an article Brady wrote in the Sun. It basically slagged off Leicester's owners. What goes around comes around. Serves her and the club right. According to a source, attempts to sign Slimani were hindered because Brady, the club’s vice-chairman, offended Leicester’s owners with comments about the club’s chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, in her weekly column for the Sun last year. “A fellow Premier League director reports that last night he bumped into the Leicester chairman at London’s most expensive wine shop,” Brady wrote. “The Leicester owner told him they’d sacked Claudio Ranieri. “He then casually settled his bill for wine and champagne. Since the sum was close to £500,000 I guess the compensation to his old manager is pocket change. At least the owner can drown his sorrows in style!” The source suggested Brady’s comments ended up becoming a PR own goal when Leicester refused to consider West Ham’s interest in Slimani, paving the way for Newcastle United to sign the Algerian forward on loan. It is claimed that despite repeated apologies from West Ham, attempts to make peace with Leicester fell on deaf ears.

Why sack one manager to replace him with one who has overseen exactly the same shit show at WHU? Makes no sense. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing pugs im just pointing something out and Bilic now was ( if you listen to this MB ) Hughes 5 years ago ...he’s only been sacked 46 hours and we’ve already fed 4 managers if the bookies are to be believed We’ve gone from Giggs-O’Neill-Rowett and now Bilic Let’s see eh Can't see it BEING Bilic as he's the one that tapped Annie up for west Ham.Its been said that it was Bilic's signing for west Ham ,so can see Coates being to happy about that.

To be fair, it just says Rowett is our main target, right? Nothing about whether he would actually be interested. Looks like we have been locking since Newcastle match. It is understood the decision was reached after the damaging 1-0 defeat to Newcastle on New Year’s Day, but Hughes earned a stay of execution due to the lack of options available. This from the percy article.

Stoke were one of the very few teams that kicked off at 3-15 . I think the pubs closed at 3-00 pm and that would allow 15 mins to down your pint and get down to the ground. Can always remember as a kid I was taken to the match by 3 of my uncles, the ritual was always the same, catch the 1-00 bus from Longton bus station alight just past the railway bridge in Stoke, cross the road into the Railway ( or was it the Locomotive?) later known as the Winger by 1:20 wait in the corridor with a bottle of Vimto and a packet of Nibbets till said Uncles came out at 3-00 on the dot. A quick stroll down to the ground , to be lifted over the turnstile and in position in the Butler St. Paddock just as they were about to kick off. Just like oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/242027/3-15-kick-off

Not true. I was at the match last night and pretty close to where Livermore was taunted about his alleged dabbling in recreational stuff - nothing to do with the tragic loss of a child. Whatever, the press have their made up story with the word allegedly printed after with no proof to support the allegation but as its West Ham don't let facts get in the way - it must be true eh!! IN the light of intense media speculation, West Bromwich Albion would like to clarify an incident involving our player Jake Livermore in last night's Premier League game at West Ham. Following his substitution in the second half, Jake was subjected to general abuse from home supporters which he shrugged off. However, he acknowledges that he moved to confront one spectator who chose to make a comment about the death of his infant son. The Club would like to think that all right-minded football supporters could understand this reaction which did not result in any physical exchanges before Jake was led away to our dressing room.

What a horrible club from the Top to the bottom .
West Brom have said Jake Livermore confronted a West Ham fan after a comment was made about the death of the midfielder's infant son.
The player was involved in an angry exchange after he was substituted in the second half of his side's 2-1 loss.
Livermore and his partner lost their newborn son Jake Junior in May 2014.

I was reading an article on Swansea earlier regarding there recent takeover with the Americans who are now in control of the club, there supporters trust owns 21% of the club. It got me thinking, Would that be a good idea for stoke to have had that?? Surely that would give the supporters a voice in the boardroom to be able to question how the clubs run etc. It did not make any difference, the fans did not want the new owners and they just went over there heads.it has now come to light that the new owners have not put any money in to the club ,apparently they will only put money in club if it becomes desperate.Any transfer money will only come from sales. The sooner fans realise there is no way that someone that has put millions in to a club are going to take any notice of the fans.

Reading those interviews, he wouldn't be coming here on a short term 6 month fire fighting job, you think he'd want a proper contract in order for him to leave Belgium. 18-month deal? He's probably on buttons in Belgium, so can't see him turning down £2m+? Theres no way Coates will be paying that look what Hughes pay .It wii be nothing about the right man ,it will be how cheap they can get a new manger for. Starting off in Baker-street for us see whats what then maybe onto the Green man. You can catch the overground line just up from Bakerstreet & there are a couple more pubs on the way to the stn. Lot less crowded than the tube 🚊 By the look of it best drink away from ground. The designated pub for away supporters is the Green Man, which is located on Dagmar Avenue on Wembley Hill. For many years this pub has been a popular venue for fans visiting Wembley Stadium and is around a 15-20 minute walk away. The pub also offers parking which is free for coaches, but minibuses cars are charged £20 and £15 respectively, these should be pre-booked. See the Green Man Hotel website for more details and location map. Although there are plenty of other pubs and bars around Wembley, most of these do not admit visiting supporters. Otherwise, it may be an idea to plan to drink in Central London before the game or at a pub located near to one of the tube stations such as Harrow-on-the-Hill, that are on the same tube line to Wembley. Near to the stadium is the London Designer Outlet which has a number of eating places such as TGI Fridays, Frankie & Benny’s and Nando’s, which also serve alcohol. Beer is also available to buy within Wembley Stadium itself.

If you think Sobhi was crap I suggest you're watching the wrong sport. He was great defensively and put some decent balls in behind there defence. He needs to work on his end product for sure but he was far from crap. Ramadam was better tonight, went past his man with ease many times and always looked forward for a change, did his bit at the back too. He looks to be getting his edge back. Thought that was his best match since West Ham away last year .Like you said he just needs to shot instead of trying a pass when in on goal.

WBA have decent players who are capable of turning this mess round...if they have a manager who allows them to express themselves. You a right about the players but he has done his normal trick of falling out with the players / or holding vendettas.problem is he done it with the players there who can get him out of the shit.Plus he can not keep leaving then out of the team after the transfer fee’s he’s paid for them.

Just watched Bournemouth v Huddersfield and just noticed Probert reffing the match. Then I thought ,hes the one that reff Stoke v Bournemouth this season.Watching the match as with us he’s giving all the decisions to Bournemouth even the sending off it was touch and go ,only the players protesting and stopping the game that made him to do it.First goal foul / card ,next goal clear off side.I remember some one on here saying he’s was giving high fives to there players in the warm up.Just makes you think how corrupt these refs are. Its something I also noticed mate so I had a look at his record,in his last 14 games reffed(including his last 2 games last season) he’s reffed Bournemouth 3 times( 2 Home,1 away)Southampton 3 times(all at home) and Portsmouth once.7 games out of 14 reffing the 3 South Coast clubs🤔The furthest north he’s reffed in those games was our place against Bournemouth of course😄[/quot Had a Search about Probert ,before he reffed us the only prem action he had had was the fourth official when we played Chelsea.Did not realised he been injured for last season. So makes you think he’s not fit to do the job ,Which some one said on here he never ventured ten yards either side of the center circle missing some of the decisions that happened in the penalty area for us.
