Nick Powell has been seen at Crawley on the pitch with his training kit on. Could be a start for him? Looks like Kigdu from the under 23s is in the squad.

Looks like Liverpool are looking for a back up goalie. Liverpool will look to sign an experienced replacement as cover for Alisson before the close of the transfer window on Thursday. Jack on current form is not good enough for Liverpool's back up. After Saturday think any chance he had to go to a premiere league club has gone this season.

An incredible 91% of bets on yesterday's game were on Stoke. As the old staying goes , you never see a poor bookie 😭 If you look at all yesterday’s championship results all the fancied sides lost,They must have made a killing.

Please could you address the following with our illustrious CEO at the next meeting: - Diabolical state of the catering and hygiene - Season card debacle - Rip off booking/postage fees - Are staff now being paid the minimum wage? Anything else we need adding to the list for this shambolic club to answer for? A young relative of mine just joined the catering staff. The contract she's signed is a work of absolute capitalist abuse. Coates a socialist? My arse.[/quot My Daughter had a job there on the corporate side there serving in the boxes two season ago.The hours were longer than she should have been working for her age ,Had to buy her own uniform, money was below minimum wage for the hours she worked. She Only got two worthwhile tips the time she was ther, and for the wife to pick here up was a nightmare because of the traffic control or volume of traffic trying to get away hours after the match. In the end towards the end of the season we just said to her if she did not want to go she did not need to.The Only good think she got experience of working while at 6th form and how companies rip off people for there own ends. This was the time when Stoke was one of the football clubs high lighted for this in the press and by the sounds of it it has not changed.😬😬😬

Linked with Levante, but presented as unlikely due to wages... www.lasprovincias.es/levanteud/heredero-lerma-20190718010835-ntvo.htmlThe heir of Lerma Levante accelerates the search for a defensive midfielder | The azulgrana know the difficulty to sign Badou N'Diaye, who tomorrow will play the final of the African Cup, and consider alternatives like Radoja It is not a simple mission. The technical secretariat of Levante, led by Manolo Salvador and David Navarro, has the challenge of finding a footballer who will replace Jefferson Lerma. But the shade of the Colombian is long. The azulgrana are looking for a powerful defensive midfielder, with physical deployment and energy. There are several alternatives on the table. These include Badou N'Diaye and Nemanja Radoja, although both are presented as complicated options due to economic parameters. Levante combs the market in search of a midfielder with a profile similar to that of Lerma. They have been interested in Badou N'Diaye, although they knows that it is a very complicated operation due to his high salary. The Senegalese, who tomorrow will play the final of the Africa Cup against Algeria, belongs to Stoke City. The English team competes in the Championship, so the footballer will change the air again. Everything points to a new assignment. Last season he defended the colors of Galatasaray as a loan. At 28, you have proposals from Spanish, British and French teams. The azulgrana also consider the possibility of Radoja. The Serbian midfielder, aged 26, is free at the end of his contract with Celta. Last season he did not enjoy minutes. He would be happy to continue in Spain. Levante knows the situation of the player, although the economic demands become an obstacle. Looks like we are not the only mugs.he was a 25 mill signing for Fulham last season, and now 1.3 mill loan to Galatasaray .Perhaps they do not want N'Diaye. Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri is set to join Turkish side Galatasaray on loan for an initial £1.3m with an option to make the deal permanent. (Mail)

24:00-27ish Seems to be conveying a message a few players have said. However I still remember Pennants last game for us vs everton. That game I swear he deliberately went out there to get sent off, cant remember the result but remember he fkd us at the end from memory with a stupid challenge. Soured any good will I had for him They could have had two more from him before the ref gave the last one.

I think there's every possibility that he could field a team of his players apart from Allen and Etebo and maybe Etebo will start the season late, (assuming Steve Bruce doesn't offer a shed load of money for him) and Allen is sold. Was thinking the same about Bruce ,He was very impressed with Etebo when we played Wednesday.

Although I can understand Butland wanting to leave and accept fully that a keeper of his talents should be in the Premier League, I don’t see where his options are. Would a Watford/Brighton type club be attractive to him? Or would a club of that type be prepared to pay the asking price? Alternatively, he could do “a Begovic” and sit on the bench for one of the big clubs...can’t see that happening either. Any Premier League club offering first choice would be attractive to him, as it gets him a much better chance of being the England keeper. Would such a club meet the asking price? Depends what it is. Begovic + £20m would work for everyone. Bid you see Begovic’s performance yesterday.😱😱😱

How much does Nixon actually know? After the Birmingham game he mocked the idea that Rowett might be in trouble, noting that he’d just gone 10 unbeaten. One game later after he witnessed the reaction to the Bolton game and he was suddenly talking about Rowett being under massive pressure... I Think on transfer’s especially Stoke ones he’s not so good. But all the ones to day have been about the board and what’s going on up there. No doubt he will have people telling him things.A lot very much on the lines of what ex players have been coming out with this last week. From what he has said Scholes and Cartwright have a major say in what’s going on.

Or Coventry City, or Hull City, or Leeds United until relatively recently or........................ I appreciate that my national role in the supporters movement and the FA Council does give me a wider perspective, but I do think there is quite a lot of hyperbole around at the moment. Of course, it was hugely disappointing to go down, it is clear that our performance in the area of player recruitment in recent years hasn't been good, and we haven't seen much entertaining football recently. I am not a fan of our current manager. But the nature of a competitive league is that even if the Premier League had the 20 best managers in the world, the 20 best recruitment teams and the 20 richest owners, 3 of them would still go down. The league we are now in is full of clubs of similar size to us who have been in the PL, whose fans were angry when they went down, and who are trying to But if you are looking for real bad ownership and bad off-field management, we aren't anywhere near the 'top' division or the clubs mentioned above, and many others. We have had a ticket price freeze for a decade; free coach travel to away games, unique in this league; and our club was instrumental in pushing for the £30 away price cap in the PL, to mention just a few issues which come immediately to mind. Whilst the club has indeed done some wonderful things and one should not lose sight of them, as a supporter that should not deter from out spectacular fall from grace in footballing terms To compare to others is folly. Sir Terry Leigh turned the grocery industry on its head with one simple change. Stop worrying about what the competition is doing and focus on our customers I take little comfort that we are not in the position of some worse run clubs, such as Blackpool, although I sympathise as one could easily make the counter argument re Bournemouth etc Maybe it was our time in the sun but how we fell back down to earth should be reviewed top to bottom because from what I witnessed it was not by chance but by seemingly on going poor decision making and I just don’t understand why nothing structural seems to be changing over the last 3 years These are a couple of tweets from Nixon today.Sums up what’s going on. Only thing worse is TWO decision makers who have different opinions . Tony Scholes. Mark Cartwright. Will also have a view.

If it was lifted would it have an adverse effect on crowds? What do you think? I think it would .When the weather gets bad and you have a distance to travel .You have only got to look at the midweek matches,On paper they look fine but season tickets are added.I went to the last home night match they said there was 23000 to me looked more like 15000.

Butland Martina Shawcross Indi Clucas Woods Etebo Diouf Bojan Ince Afobe Harsh on Saido but I think that is the best team we have. Don’t know if you noticed how Bojan trudged off the pitch at the end of the match ,no acknowledgement to the fans ,no celebration with team mates at full time and going straight up the tunnel .I am thinking he his looking for out again

Meanwhile Leeds are set to sign an actual defensive midfielder ...Besic ...from Everton for 4 million quid today Who because he is 25 , will be worth more than 4 million , if he has a decent season and Leeds get promoted Why exactly can't we sign players like Barry Douglas and muhamed Besic , for 3 or 4 million , whose value will rise , if they play well ? I genuinely don't get it Incredible really. I think everybody on here would have unanimously welcomed Besic. It's all very odd what's going on down at CW. If he’s had a knee problem, wonder if Stoke are getting the knee specialist doctor who did Denda Bar’s medical.😳😁

Got laughed off the board for telling everyone that Paul. Interest has been there for around 4 weeks now. Main issue is wages surprise surprise, he’s still sat on 35k and they aren’t willing to match that. Stoke would sell at 10 million 100% 35k is peanuts to a Prem team, if he is on that. Does that mean he was on 70k before pay cut.😳.

Derby have done well to get these lads but when Lampard came in he was told that they couldn’t afford top dollar so the route they were going to go down was young up and coming players which they’ve done with these 2 signings. They want Marriott from Peterborough also but cannot buy him until they sell Vydra from what I gather That’s what Nixon has said. No money for Marriott. Unless Vydra goes. Looking at a lot of these clubs they seem to be talking about transfer ‘s but have no money to do them.Sounds like Vydra is hoping a prem club come in for him.

Surely we wouldn't agree to sell Grant if Butland was leaving? Playing in the Championship for a season will not seriously affect his chances of representing England in the next tournament which is 2 years away. We could give him a new contract to stay with a release clause after a year. The price of him staying at Stoke on Sky bet has drop significantly today and his down to 7/2.
