The weather is looking good for tomorrow! :-)
I'm not as fast as you speedy types, but hoping to get as near to 2hrs as I can, last time I ran 2.13 but have done 2.06 since then on a flatter course. The knee is playing me up a bit though :-(

Haven't been able to run since Potters Arf, injury had re-surfaced by the end, just managed 30 min walk. :-(

Why not enter the Chester Marathon on 9th October? Not too far away.
What shall I do with the photos from this morning? Post on here or email, message me if you want it by email.

Am very happy with that Northy, I started quite near the back so hoping that the chip time will be just a bit less than 2.15 but can't grumble with a PB (was 2.16) and a lot quicker than last year!
Well done everyone!
I am already wondering if I can get closer to the 2 hours next time!

Last year the mile markers were positioned quite high up on lamp posts etc, lots of people missed them, I probably only saw them because I was determined to have my head held high no matter how badly I was doing! :-)

Just back from Canada today, all my recent runs over there have been flat, flat flat!!! A bit worried but hope my legs will remember what to do on the hills :-)

You need the little reference number by the photo, I got one from the semi and they posted it out to me. We went into the office to order but you should be able to do it over the phone.

Got my number 1527. What about meeting by the Metro ( what used to be the French Horn) for the photo about half an hour or so before. Did the Market Drayton 10k this morning before the match and took 3 minutes off my pb!

Waiting for the tickets to arrive from Virgin.. I won't quite believe it until I have them in my hand. Need to get some hill training in before potters arf, doing Market Drayton 10k on Sunday before going to the match, that's a really nice race, last day to enter is tomorrow!

I have entered again, if I get through this time I am hoping that Stoke are in the FA cup semi final on a different day :-)

Thanks Sal, I was really tired and wasn't sure I made sense! I just wanted to go to bed. Thanks for the sponsorship (if that was you) I am guessing it must have been .

Yes I was looking at Chester and I am already registered for the potters arf, I did it last year too. OH may divorce me for taking on another though, he's a bit fed up of half of every Sunday taken up running. :-) I will email the photo tomorrow Fi

Ha, I am not doing Talksport, they wanted me at 3.45pm, but I wasn't home by then anyway. Have done Radio Stoke, I couldn't believe it when you text me this morning about being in the paper.

I am back home! Had messages from Radio stoke, Talk sport and Radio 5 live on my answer machine, due to the pic in the paper. Was reasonably happy with my time of 5. 08, but more happy with getting to the match before the goals were scored as I didn't think I would get there until half time, and of course the end result topped it all. I could hear the Stoke fans singing as I walked as fast as I could from the tube station to Wembley, really spurred me on, what a fantastic day! Thanks to the Stoke fan who handed me a tenner when he saw that I had done the marathon, adding it to my total for Donna Louise. :-)
