I like Roy hope he’s ok I'm not a big Roy fan (Think his England reign tarnished my views of him) but do hope he's Ok & it isn't anything serious. He was a Stoke hating twat that’s why.

Bojan and Shaq signings were statements.
I can also remember being quite excited by James Beattie, had a feeling he had something to prove.

Isn’t the oil beginning to dry up around the globe’s oil wells? Electric is starting to gain momentum. With a combination of electric taking a large share of the automobile market and less oil to suck out of the ground, won’t Saudi monetary power just collapse like a pack of cards? Oil is one of those topics where you can find a likely convincing argument either way depending on who has the self-interest. I don't believe there's a chance of oil reserves running out any time soon. Oil consumption will continue to grow for many years, even with the continuous attacks against it. Electric infrastructure & production will have to improve massively. The only viable alternative to fossil fuels for that production is nuclear not your windmills which are, incidentally, built with petroleum based products. Just stop oil idiots should spend a bit more time focusing on world deforestation. The lungs of the world are being decimated.

Why it’s the EFL. You ever been to Borth. These fuckers hate the English I had a run in with lads in Borth maybe 25 years ago. Wanted to charge me to park the car because I was English. They were a very angry bunch especially after I ran over one of their feet

Boxing night at home against Liverpool was one of the best in the Pulis era.
0-1 down in the first minute then team & support took it to another level. Both at their intimidating best.

Lots of people praising us so I thought I’d say my piece.
For an FA cup 5th round tie that was a disgusting effort from the manager, the team & the piss poor number of fans that turned out. For those that did, hat’s off.
Brighton are a great side but never had to get out of second gear. Could have got a deserved 2nd at the end.
One decent effort and missed by a country fucking mile. Wank!

Credit where it's due, that was a great fightback. We all thought it was going to be another collapse after that dreadful first minute goal but, for all the flaws in this team, I think we can all see that they're really trying their best. All we have been asking for mate. Show a little pride in the shirt & the tides will turn.

Went to Sohoplace last night great show laughed and cried same as the film, it’s longer than the film and goes into Neil’s school days great venue also How did the audience take to it ? We have wondered how a London audience would react, and were delighted at the reception it had at the first night on Saturday - which was as good as any I personally saw at the New Vic. How full was it ? My daughter went to the first night and got interviewed by a reporter from the NY Times

London

A lot of people who don’t live in London have extraordinarily strong views on it. A wonderful place to live if you can afford the housing. I live in a beautiful, leafy community, 5 min walk from the river, 15 min walk from Richmond Park. Great state schools (for primary at least), rated the best area in the country for state primaries. I can easily get a GP appointment within 7 days of calling. 2 A&Es within 20 min drive. Amazing public transport network (even though I am not on the tube). Great independent shops and farmer’s markets (I vary between 3 each week, 2 of which are walkable). Plus the west end (where I never go) or numerous massive shopping centres (which I also never visit) for those who like that sort of thing for shopping. The average restaurant/gastro pub is very high quality. Good selection of walkable local pubs. Loads of live football at varying levels (particularly now Brentford and Fulham are back in the Prem). Crime is low where I live. Some areas it is obviously high. But it is a vast city so you don’t have to go to those areas unless you choose to. The full array of London culture is a short train into town away. World class museums, galleries, theatre, ballet, opera, sport, film, all the new entertainment venues with ax throwing, darts, escape rooms, live experiences etc. Unparalleled in the rest of the country for depth and breadth and I am talking about going to see the best in the world, or joining in amateur things of the above. Whatever you are into, you can find it in London. Huge variety of nightlife and nighttime activities, from late night cat cafes to massive nightclubs and wear house raves and festivals. It is culturally diverse (I know lots of the racists on here will see that as a negative but I certainly don’t). It means people from all over the world go to my son’s school and he learns so much from them. As do I from friends. And it brings up the quality of cultural events and food. People are therefore open minded and more friendly and accepting of others as a result. Pretty much whatever you want to do for a living can be done in London, with generally more opportunities and higher salaries than the rest of the country. Many sectors are world leading. Having grown up in Cornwall and lived in Stoke and London, I find people are extremely friendly to those they consider their own in Cornwall and Stoke which is great if you are part of it. In London I find people much more likely to be friendlier to anyone in the community, no matter what you look or sound like and no matter if you are not a local. The absolutely massive downside of London is the price of housing. That is the only reason my family and I will have to move at some stage (probably when thinking about secondary schools for the kids which aren’t great in my particular area). I've recently set my daughter up in Richmond-upon-Thames and she is loving it. Half hour train ride to her job in Ascot and even less to get into central London via tube or rail.

I was back in Stoke for the first time since the pandemic and its bloody soul destroying to see what's happened to Hanley, Longton and Newcastle. Longton is borderline derelict apart from Tesco & Next. I couldn't believe Barclays Bank closed its doors when i was there.

Potter would be nuts to join that basketcase of a club. 5 year contract on double or triple his current salary he'd be mad not to take it Brighton are pretty close to their ceiling and seem happy to sell one of their better players every year without ever really reinvesting massively, worst case sacked in 18 months with hefty pay off, best case he is England manager within 3 or 4 years. More sensible clubs than Chelsea will be watching him. He'll get what he deserves in time.

Who next for Chelsea? Here are the latest Sky Bet odds... Graham Potter (8/13) Mauricio Pochettino (9/4) Zinedine Zidane (9/2) Brendan Rodgers (18/1) Zinedine Zidane (8/1) Diego Simeone (25/1) volatile Potter would be nuts to join that basketcase of a club.

Is this today's Nuremberg of the 1930s? It is. Or North Korea today. It's what happens when an egomaniac controls The Media. It really is very Orwellian. OS. Or North American (Canada and the US)

No-one should ever underestimate what that goal meant to those of us there especially after the carnage of the first leg. The city emptied the day we went to Wembley, "Turn the lights off on the way out" daubed on sheets hanging from the bridge on the A500. Tupper Ware took us there and will always be remembered by me for that. RIP Turn the lights off on the way out.....Their is an official banner in the making if ever I heard one This is how it should be sung.

He said all this with a straight face. The definition of an entitled individual. Vile creature. and a simpleton to boot. Authoritarian - he has no idea of the meaning of the word. He invoked an Emergencies Act for a protest and then shut it down before the Senate failed to pass it. They can track $20 donations to individuals but can't track their own parties missing billions in infrastructure spending..........

Surge Energy (SGY.TO) and Cardinal Energy (CJ.TO) on the Toronto stock exchange have been doing very nicely over the past month.
Both of these stocks should be paying a dividend by July on top of the 5% capital appreciation per day they have been getting.

Players knew the season was over after the FA Cup loss and they couldn't be arsed to turn up for the game Saturday. I'd happily beat the shit out of quite a few of them with a cricket bat. No respect for their shirt or the fans.

Bayern, we agree on a number of matters Stoke but don’t try to tell me that the hatred of Trudeau has something to do with with Russia. I live in Western Canada & know the way people feel about him. He is poison & has divided a whole country with the help of his $600mm paid for media. Interest rates rose today for the first time, they will rise again in 6 weeks & the inflation caused by his constant printing of cash is crippling a population struggling after two years of lockdowns & job losses. There are no checks & balances with this guy, his minority government is propped up by the NDP who can’t afford another election. He & his cabinet will do as their puppet masters ask. Canadas credit rating has dropped, house prices are ballooning and once the locked in mortgages fall off people will lose their homes to the rich as they did under his fathers regime in the past. Ironically, the oil & gas companies he despises and the money they are currently making is providing the tax dollars to help him with his ultimate goal of shutting it down. I’m still trying to get my head around the media’s ‘progressive’ terminology for the likes of him worldwide. I’ll continue to call him a cunt.
