Not quite sure what was said at half time but, fucking hell we've been fucking awful. Hate to moan after such an upturn recently but we look clueless.

Not sure why people like being labelled with things these days, it's just the imperfections of being a human being. One of my daughters was diagnosed as autistic recently. She has spent years in turmoil not knowing what condition she had but knowing that her world view is different to others. That diagnosis has given her piece of mind and she can and is moving forward. She's found alternative ways to educate herself(school was a nightmare for her often coming home exhausted and emotional after masking all day and her education suffered severely as a consequence) and, with her continuing hard work, will be off the university in September/October. She doesn't want to be autistic but she is and is dealing with it now that she has a diagnosis so being 'labelled' has had a positive effect on her. It has been difficult for her sisters, my wife and me. I have certainly been one who has been dismissive of her being potentially autistic and shown ignorance and a lack of sympathy. Thankfully, I turned that corner and realised her condition is real and, at times, heartbreaking for her. We all now understand more and knowing she is autistic has helped. I am very pleased to say that my daughter has just been offered a place at university. That she has struggled all her life not even knowing she had autism makes it one hell of an achievement. Her interview for a place came days after being 'labelled' as autistic. I can say with confidence that if she hadn't had that diagnosis, she wouldn't have gone through with her interview. Obviously, there are now other hurdles to overcome but this is a big step forward in her life.

Both possibly out for the season I think I saw or heard somewhere. Tezgel quad and Lowe back That's a real shame as both would have had chances to play as we see the season out Bloody typical and, yes, it's a shame.

Anyone any idea on Tezgal and Lowe's injuries - probably mentioned somewhere but I have missed it.

So close to my situation that it brought a tear to my eye. Thankfully you woke up to her situation earlier than me. All the best mate. I now know my son inherited a lot of his traits from me. Thankfully I never struggled to the degree he has. He's now got a good job and a supportive girlfriend and his employer is absolutely brilliant. Thank you and the same goes for you and yours. It's amazing how dismissive I was but not understanding the constant turmoil she was(and still is) in hurts. She wants to live her best life and is battling to do that as much as she can.

The third paragraph isn’t very complimentary at all. One of the best end to end games I have seen in a while and this shit gets written? “Credit to Stoke City In analysing the game, while there is naturally a habit to focus solely on Boro, there are two teams on that pitch and sometimes you have to credit Stoke City. With little to play for now this season, they've hit form with the loss of pressure and came into the game having won four of the last six and having scored eight goals in their last two. Until those two late saves though, Boro limited the Potters to very few chances, with their goal about the only major opportunity they had of the first half. But it's fair to say Boro didn't have many of their own either. That's in large down to Stoke and the way that they managed the game. They came to the Riverside and killed the flow of the game essentially. It didn't make for a pretty watch, but ultimately, with Boro a side quite ruthless when in full-flow under Carrick, you can't blame them and should expect as much. For Stoke, it worked.” Written by Mowbray?

As everyone but everyone noticed the subs reduced us into a complete mess. Think AN said when we win there's not too much to analyse because the job is done and you move onto the next game - I'd like to think he and his team will analyse that last 10 minute 'loss' and realise that Clucas is really shit and Thompson and Tymon ain't much better. Judging by his reaction in his interview, he seems to be onto it.

Got bored with the petty squabbling above. Anyway, here are my scores, arbitrarily:
Bonham - 5.5 he could send what is beginning to look like a solid defence into panic. Poor for both goals and feel he's liable to one massive mistake in each half.
We really need a couple of keepers in the Summer.
Hoever - 8.5 - got sucked in for their first goal but he scored two great goals. Tuanzebe - 8 - like this guy, seems so accomplished. Fox - 7.5 overall good cover and a couple of decent passes. Sterling - 8 - bit silly with the yellow card but another confident display.
Shame three quarters of this defence are on loan. Best full backs we've has since being relegated and would love to sign them.
Pearson - 9.5 - reads the game so well and has had a massive bearing on the improved performances. Laurent - 9 - been immense since January. The run and ball for the third goal was brilliant. Smallbone - 8.5 - loses half a mark for missing two glorious chances but he's come into his own recently.
This is the midfield we need for next season and need to try and make it happen.
Campbell - 8 - is benefitting from those around him and seems to be enjoying it Gayle - 7.5 - lovely throughball to Brown(I think) in the first half plus great cross for the opener. Brown - 6 - never stops running.
There's goals in this front line but it does need bolstering.
Subs:
Clucas 4 Tymon 5 Thompson 3 - forgot he was on. Baker 6
Unfortunately, the Clucas, Thompson and Tymon changes take us back to the insipid bad old days and shows who we may have to turn to once the loanees have gone. Let's hope the rebuild means this isn't the case.

Saw him away at Norwich and thought he was awful but he's come on massively since the WC break. Him, Pearson and Smallbone have been key to the steady improvement we've seen. Just need to string some wins together and have a good Summer signing spree.

A defeat used to have such a negative effect on my life - it'd ruin a weekend or rest of the week.It just doesn't bother me anymore and I think it has a lot to do with the way the club has gone. We should have bounced back but couldn't do it and it's become a shrugging of shoulders all round.
The realisation that there's more to life and enjoying family time, etc has finally sunk in, too. Keeping in touch with the score always happens. In fact, it's more prevalent now - I'll watch live or listen if I can but the reaction isn't the same. I think that's why I watch more because I can cope with the loss rather than get angry. What's even more crazy is I've seen more Stoke games this season than since the Macari era despite living further away and have even enjoyed family matchdays regardless of the result!
