The poor. The wealthy will all get diagnosed with bone spurs and be exempt. I think Northern Ireland would have to be made exempt to. Imagine telling all the 18 year olds in Derry that they've got to serve in the British Army for a year! They haven't really thought this through, have they? 🤦♂️

Yes a bunch of 18 year olds doing 1 year will make the Red Army quake. Designed to appeal to the " they all need a dose of discipline" brigade. The ridiculous thing is it would be of no use to the armed forces who want professional well funded troops and equipment that works. It is also politically inept and will be much more of a vote loser than winner. This campaign looks like it is going to have the reverse Midas touch with everything they do turning brown and smelly. I think it appealed to older voters back in the 80's However those voters will pretty much all be dead now Really don't see who it would appeal to now it's absolutely scraping the barrel It doesn’t seem to follow any logic at all does it? The army doesnt want it, the kids don't want it, the oldies don't want their grand kids being sent off to war, it's hard to fathom who it's possibly meant to appeal to? Oh hang on ...

Who would want to see a favourite artist in a place that size? Well you've kind of answered your own question, an awful lot of people, being the answer. DEMAND dictates the size of venue an artist plays at, nothing else. And if your favourite artist is also a lot of other people's favourite artist, what would you do, have the artist play at the Sugarmill instead, so only the tiniest percentage of fans actually get to see their favourite artist? It's not the artists fault that lots of people want to go and attend the show and it's not the fans' fault that lots of other fans want to go to the show. There's already a 20,000+ capacity venue in Manchester and yet they've gone and built another one, reason being, obviously that the city can accommodate another such venue because the demand is so high. The Northern part of the city centre was absolutely dead until they built the MEN Arena and as a result of it's popularity, the regeneration around it, has been absolutely staggering. The Print Works has been a huge success and lots of new bars and restaurants have opened, it's even had an effect on real estate. The Northern side of Great Ancoats has been completely regenerated, as the ripples of the success of the original building of the arena continue to spread. And yet the Band on the Wall still regularly sells out, Night and Day is often packed, the newly rejuvenated New Century Hall is one of the best new venues in Manchester. Indeed we are patrons of Crewe Lyceum and see several shows (mostly comedy) there a year, as well as often visiting the MEN and all manner of different sized venues inbetween, the two (as you seem to suggest) aren't mutually exclusive. Live music has never been in a healthier state in this country and long may that continue.

Not been in the game at all. Very poor so far. Where is he? Credit to Man Utd though. Pep started him on the left. Now he's moved him to a bona fide number 10.

Add to the fact that we had booked the same hotel for the final, that we had used for the semi final, only to be gazumped by Man City. Our players were drug tested before kick off, and theirs weren't (?) And some chap, randomly picked from the entire British Military to present the FA Cup, just happened to be a Man City fan. They had multi million pound players on the bench. We had Danny Pugh and Salif Diao. As far as I'm concerned, we won the FA Cup by beating Bolton 5-0. Arab money all over the place, and they broke financial rules. Funny you mention that ... I've just been looking at the relegation odds for next season and Arsenal and Liverpool are both 2,000/1. However Citeh are 25/1! Do the bookies know something that we don't?

Really glad that they've moved it back to a 3pm kick off and given it the respect that it deserves.
Tea time kick offs whilst a Premier League programme was still being played, was ruining the whole thing.
Just need to bring back It's A Knockout and helicopters following the coaches from the hotels now ...

I cannot agree at all, that these KC's and lawyers are in any way influenced by not wanting to upset the establishment. If the establishment wanted to rig the outcome of the inquiry, then we wouldn't have some of the top professionals in the game asking the questions. I've actually found it quite refreshing to see a pillar of our establishment (judiciary & KC's) acting with such integrity, something of course, the present government has attempted to destroy on more than one occasion. In this example and in my opinion, Williams had ALREADY nailed her, when he asked the question "Why?". Her reply was always going to be irrelevant, he didn't NEED to put her to the sword with a follow up question dependent on what she said, indeed the job had already been completed, as soon as he'd trapped her with his question. Here’s an example of the kind of questioning I‘m referring to, from 2:46 to the groans in the gallery. Was he (Mark Davies) a trusted advisor? Very indirect answer that goes unchallenged. Mark Davies had political connections to Jack Straw which she possibly alludes to, but Jason Beer doesn’t react to that to establish what she means. These are things which could give the chair/judge room for manoeuvre if he needed it. It's amazing how two different people can see the same thing so differently ... This is what I was on about in my reply to you above. There are some (maybe many) questions that he asks, where he's not actually interested in the reply she makes, the question itself, is the key point. He's not allowed to TELL her that Davies was her trusted advisor, so instead, he frames it as a question but in actual fact, HE himself, is making a statement. It's done in order to set up the other questions around that statement, he ALREADY knows that Davies IS her trusted advisor. It's exactly the same principle, when he asks her, does she know why Davies cut out everybody else from the email chain except her? And in return she gives another wishy washy answer. He's not actually interested in her answer to the question one bit because he already knows the answer to the question, that being, that Davies cut everybody else out of the email chain because what they are discussing, is absolutely dodgy as fuck and they can't risk the conversation going any further than her and her (here we go) ... 'trusted advisor'. He's exposing her (most importantly to Williams but also to everybody else watching) for the deceitful bitch that she is, by simply ASKING the questions, rather than having to rely on her answers. In my opinion, what we've been watching, is a professional right at the very top of his game and it's a been an absolute joy to watch.

To be fair, if a list was put up for JD, it would include shite like Haks as well as the guy from Wolves that lasted all of seven seconds. Looking at that list, it would include everyone that we signed, even what we might assume to be the Neil contingent. Most of the player scores in the article above are lousy (39 players, average mark 5.3) but if we did the same exercise for Dublin using the same criteria you'd probably get: Jun-ho - 10 Burger - 8 Mmaee - 4 Manhoef - 7 Leris - 5 Pearson - 5 Jojic - 1 Gooch - 6 Ennis - 4 Vidigal - 5 Johnson - 3 Rose - 6 Stevens - 7 Chiquinho - 1 Cundle - 6 Haksabanovic - 5 Hoever - 5 Iversen - 7 McNally - 6 Travers - 6 Clark - 2 Wesley - 2 Tchamadeu - 6 Which comes out as an average of 5.09, so pretty similar. Believe it or not, if you take out the (probable) Neil signings from that lot the average drops to 4.75. It's a rough exercise, don't come shouting at me if I've not been nice enough to anybody.I note that there's only one of those 39 Darnbrough signings that has come from abroad, incidentally. Have Hull broadened their horizons more recently? I couldn't honestly tell you anything about most of the teams in our league. They had Delap and Philogene last season, I'm struggling beyond that. I suppose the flip side of this is whether Dublin exclusively identified players from foreign leagues but lacked any domestic expertise? Somewhere in the middle would be nice...
FWIW, I think you're pretty much bang on with those ratings.

In the middle of the 21st century, how on earth is the West allowing a nations borders to be determined by fundamentalist dogma?

To think that just over 4 years ago, we had seasoned political commentators (quite legitimately), suggesting that it would take at least two Parliaments before Labour could even begin to contemplate turning over an 80 seat majority. And yet here we are, watching that very same party, collectively combust before our very eyes. This is what happens when political campaigns are waged on nothing more than populism and built on nothing more, than a house of cards (Brexit). It's always going to catch up with you in the end ... Boris Johnson is a self serving, lying cunt, who managed to hoodwink far too many people with the ultimate result, being utterly catastrophic for us as a nation. Hopefully, people won't forget.

They are lyrics to an extremely famous song knype and that is the next line, hence the way the post was structured the way it was, there was clearly more to come. I'm pretty certain that is why all the people who liked the post, did do. I know the lyrics, the song and your intention. It was obvious by the Leftwaffe who liked your post as well Strange that you queried it then ... Too many right wing meetings? Yeah, I'd say so. You didn't say that?

It’s becoming harder and harder with each passing day of this inquiry for the CPS not to prosecute anyone. it will happen though as bad as things like the blood scandal is the itv drama has really stirred the nation over the post office. granted it shouldnt have come to this but pandoras box has been opened. the SPMR's and the public demand it Yes, without a shadow of a doubt. The only question now, seemingly being ... just where on earth are they going to find an impartial jury?!

ICJ has ordered Israel to halt military offensive in Rafah. 13 to 2. A moral decision. However, it’s not one that is likely to be adhered to or enforced. Oh indeed mate but they are all small steps in the right direction, slowly ratcheting up the pressure on the US and the UK. If it ultimately leads to a resolution from the Security Council, then it's going to get very interesting. This chap nails it ...

One of tomorrow's newspapers should put her One Show email on their front page tomorrow! She is pure evil ... Enlighten me please mate. Didn't realise that when I posted the above, that it was going to be the very last piece of evidence in her testimony. Absolutely superb work from Tim Maloney, he completely exposed all her lies over the last three days, with one single email, right at the very end. 👏
