A great read, thanks for posting , this part had me laughing out loud -
"And on the very rare occasions he has been out of form, he even does that brilliantly. Remember the 4-0 home defeat against Chelsea three years ago this week? Walters grabbed the game by the scruff off the neck - for Chelsea - with two own goals and a missed penalty"
Something that was raised on Talksport early hours this morning .
Everyone else might have already realised but I hadn't really thought of it like this (if correct) it seems we maybe have a bit of an advantage playing away 2nd regarding away goals . With them counting but only after extra time so if I have got this correct say its 2-1 to us tonight then 2-1 to them after 90 minutes at Anfield in theory we have an extra 30 minutes to score away goals so say both teams then go on to score once in extra time making it 4-4 on aggregate we would go through on away goals having scored 2 to there 1 .
She has made a complaint and a couple of times been promised a manager would could her back within 24 hrs but hasn't she has also been awarded compensation but hasn't actually had it yet , and yes as you say it is also so frustrating having to deal with the foreign call centres .
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced problems with BT , my sister is currently having a nightmare with them and were not sure what to do as she isn't really getting anywhere .
I have just looked and there is a communications ombudsmen , could it be worth contacting them ?
It started off when she ordered fibre optic broadband (was already on normal broadband) BT then switched her current broadband off and said she would have to wail until her new fibre was connected to have any internet (this would be 2 weeks without internet) she wasn't told of this at the time .
She then checked with Sky and there fibre optic would work out cheaper and so I said she would be best off cancelling her BT order and placing one with Sky which she did . BT eventually relectantly agreed to cancel her order anyway the latest is Sky are now saying they still can't proceed as there is still showing an order in place with BT even though they have assured her at least twice it has been totally cancelled .
she has now been without broadband for around 9 weeks whilst there has been many phone calls to both BT and Sky !
Haven't posted since you kindly bought Charlie Adam from us :). Still well happy we got rid of him!
In all honesty I have no idea which Liverpool team will turn up tomorrow, the one that beat Southampton 1-6 or the one that lost to West Ham!!. It's pretty much the same players so god only knows how performances vary so much from game to game. We're a bit worried about Stoke to be honest purely due to our horrific fixture log jam and also our massive number of injuries. We've played every 3/4 days since I don't know when and have Exeter on Friday night, Arsenal Wed and then Man Utd the Sunday and it goes on. It's good being in lots of Cups but if you suffer an injury crisis it becomes very difficult, as we're finding.
I think with Milner possible back from injury we have 13 fit first teamers incl Kolo and Joe Allen who never ever get more than 10 minutes if they are lucky. So we have 11 players to pick from, all of whom have pretty much played all the christmas games!! Obviously a rocket scientist isn't required to guess our team! Clyne, Lovren, Can, Coutinho, Lallana will all play as we have no-one else. It'll be a choice between Benteke and Firmino but we might play both, Lucas will probably play as will Moreno. Only youngster who might get a chance is Smith at LB in place of Moreno. Expect Milner to be sub given his lack of game time, but Kolo might come in for Sakho who we think is injured but no official confirmation. Can & Lucas could fill in there if required, but we'd prefer it to be Can who is the more experienced! If that happens then Milner will have to come back in to midfield given Klopps not a fan of Allen judging on his game time.
Loads of reds were unable to get tickets in the travelling Kop due to the reduction in alloction from 15 to 10% so will be in with the home crowd, myself included. It's a mockery really. The game is still not sold out, hundreds and possibly more LFC fans are in the wrong ends and we still couldn't get a bigger allocation. Had we got 15% the atmosphere would have been improved with more away fans singing and less covert reds in with you guys!! Not that there is an atmosphere issue at Stoke
Good luck to all, hope it's good game
just out of interest how have you got a ticket in the home end as I thought it was stoke registered members only ? or have you gone to the trouble of registering as a Stoke member ?
Not sure what everyone else has said but the more I see the replays of it the more I think it probably was , yes he got a toe to the ball but he seems to go through Arnie to get to the ball and so is a foul .
When the ball is played he glances sidewards, he then looks forward as he reaches the ball and his body shape and head are looking directly at Howard and the goal, I can't think why anyone thinks it's a miss hit cross honestly.
