on arrival at goodison do you mean forder? - if so shouldn't be a problem , they're not family section , though obviously depending whats left he may not be sitting near you - unless you could get people to swap around once in...provided he starts in the same tier as you
Bare in mind there's three tiers ...paddock ( old traditional paddock like at the vic ) with seats bolted on , then the old stand itself with a seperate upper and lower section ..so depending on age ( and if you want to keep an eye on him..or if he wants to escape from you:) ) this may or may not be an issue

Danny, I wouldn't use the excuse about it being a bad ground as the reason you don't want to go. You go to matches to watch and support Stoke, doesn't matter if they are playing at Old Trafford or Northwood stadium. Just say your skint and leave it at that. ;D Shame this it the first game ive missed since February. I go to support stoke, but this ground is awful, you cannot see a thing and it's not exactly like I have enough money to go every single game. Probably wont be able to go to tottenham but wil be at Hull, good ground.
