Just had the news that Graham had finally lost his battle against cancer this morning. He was a massive stoke fan and as a friend one in a million.

For the last season or so I have been picking him up and taking him to the home matches, he was such a positive determined man with a great sense of humour, always convinced he was going to beat the illness. Unfortunately this season he couldn't come down with us as he was to weak to climb the stairs to his seat so his wife phoned the club and told them about his predicament, the stadium manager arranged for Graham to go in through the directors entrance so he could use the lift and gave him a seat in the Matthews Suite. I think the club deserve a lot of praise for the effort they made to keep him enjoying his passion, well done the stadium manager whoever he is.
