Watching Commons yesterday when he came on for Hoekstra, I really began to see huge problems with his play that need to be ironed out. The main problem is his in-ability to pick when to shoot or hit a pass. Akinbiyi has this similar problem and he is around 28. I think this would cause Commons a real problem in the premiership where picking the right moment to hit a pass is very important due to the better team's imacculate offside traps.
A move to the premiership in view of playing reguarly would be absurd, but maybe a move to premiership in view of loaning him out again would be good for him. He just needs a good season (ideally 2) to make him a quality player he has the potential to become.

He is certainly far from the finished article - but I think we already knew that. He did offer the team far more than Hookey did before he went off yesterday though. Don't forget as well that Kris was occupying an unfamiliar position in the centre of the ptich for much of the game yesterday as well.

i like the play but i often think he is greedy if someone had a 100% chance of scoring if he passed or if he had a 50% chance of scoring himself he would take a shot

Agree totally stokermint
He really needs to practice with his decision making.

Having missed nearly all of last season. Commons has great potential and has not played much this season.
A great prospect and I hope he stays.
