Yep, I'm watching it, they've got some good songs in a cheeky chappy sort of a way and you'd be pleased if your mate landed them for your University Hall of Residence Xmas party which is where I suspect they will end up.
Hold on, Park Life is beginning, this one may save them!

Just got back.
It was outstanding. Highlight of the weekend is incredibly difficult to narrow down, Florence & the Machine were brilliant, as were Blur, Madness & oddly Lady GaGa was ace as well but Springsteen was out of this world. A truly incredible performance.
I can see where some of you are coming from though, there were some pretty lame bands on the main stages, it just gave you an excuse to go and visit the lesser known parts of Glasto, which are weird and brilliant in equal measure.
I was 33 last wednesday however, and i'm getting too old to go 4 days without a wash....

V P who did you go to see on the smaller stages .I would have liked to have seen Stereo MCs ,Gong,Reverend and the makers, Animal Collective, Steel Pulse and the Peatbog Faeries.Plus loads more.

God, too many to think of off the top of my head. Little Boots was great, as was VV Brown. Jack White's new project Dead Weather was typical white (and all the better for it). Would have liked tyo have seen Stereo MC's but they were listed as clashing with Brucie and you wouldn't have missed that for the world. Jack Penate was pretty good as well and my all time faves The Wonderstuff appeared on the Avalon stage, much to my amusement.
All in all, too much good stuff to correctly articulate, which made up for the fact that to be honest, the main stages were at time spretty lame.

clog,
Honestly mate, he was legendary. I know where you are coming from but he really fucking went for it, plus every time i looked up at the screen all i could see was a fucking wallaoping great Stoke flag, which was even funnier.
Genuinely one of the best slots at a festival i've ever seen, and i'm not really a fan to be honest...

Having missed all of Fridays highlights, i went over to BBC website to watch again, because i just wanted to see The Specials set, they played a blinder, as always, tight as a camels arse in a sand storm, they haven't lost it, even without Mr Dammers in there, they're still in my opinion one of the greatest bands of all time.

NO argument there. Madness were the same. Incredible musicality, not hurt by the fact they have "One step beyond" to open with. Always helps

I saw them being sold trend but no, i didn't see anyone wearing them.
One of the funniest things i saw was a converation between a punter & Reggie Yates, who is apparently on the radio
"Are you Reggie Yates?"
"Yes"
"Seriously, are you Reggie Yates?"
"Yes i am, how are you doing?"
"I listen to your Radio show. You're a real cunt"
"See ya"
I nearly shat myself laughing. And yes, of course i saw the specials, though from a distance as i was going with my friend Molly to see Lady Gaga.

Quote from the festival There were some punks , but they were in the minority, one told the press " we've made friends with each other as there aren't very many of us. The best time is at night when you get really drunk and stumble round from tent to tent. Last night we had a really good time as we scored some glue , a gallon of cider and some good Leb ;D www.ukrockfestivals.com/glastonbury-festival-1981.html

Got back at 8AM this morning, drove home through the night to avoid the traffic so been sleeping all day. What a weekend!!! Saw more Stoke shirts than any other footy shirts and got talking to a really sound stokie (and a very tall one at that!) called Greg, plus saw a big group of stokies hanging round the toilets (typical oatcake behavour The Boss was supurb and I got to shake his hand as I was at the front for it!!! My feet still hurt though from all the standing/walking/dancing. Deffo one of the best Glastos ever!

Great to meet you burberry (and all the other Sunday Stokies for that matter) .. glad you caught up with the boss.. ;D Traffic going there was worse than ever but got home to Scholar Green for 7am and slept all of the day. The flag during Springsteen's set was always in shot. You can imagine the BBC director cursing it.. just so long as we don't get even less time on MOTD this year... Blur were great, seriously on form..... I saw 'em at their first warm-up show in front of 150 people in Colchester a couple of weeks ago which was the complete opposite to last night. Never been in such a crush down the front (even at 'rockier' gigs) - and i'm 6ft 8 - so gawd knows how the little kids there coped with it. A prize for anyone spotting me at the front in my stoke shirt... ;D

I heard that Jo Whiley was grumbling about Lady Ga-Ga flashing her bits all over the place whilst sitting with her knees about a yard apart and showing her jack 'n danny to the watching audience. can anyone link or verify?

I can tell you that she had to have her tits taped in with gaffa tape. As for whether her flange was on display, i wasn't close enough to smell it/comment.
