I'm looking forward to this; saw it advertised before The Damned United, and I'm already a massive fan of Ken Loach.
It looks like classic socio-realist, working-class fare, but with a more light-hearted spirit. Seems a lot of our realist directors are trying their hand at this (Mike Leigh being another). Should be a goodun'.
P.S. Welcome back Soi!

Mike Leigh already has the perfect title in his superlative filmography for a film about the Potters' last two seasons - 'Nuts in May'. Chew each mouthfull 33 times Candice Marie / Ricardo... don't react...

How strange ! I posted about this on here two weeks ago and it immediatly got moved to GD board where it never saw the light of day again A bit like when I posted about Lawrence starting for Ireland last Friday at 7am and my post getting put in the Wheel storage when someone posted the same thing 12 hours LATER ! Seems some peoples faces fit aye

not at all jpm, it depends on whos doing the moding at the time I think, and if a threads "grown legs" by the time the more hardline mods come on they then tend to leave it. You've been around on here as long as I have I think
